There are no distinctions in the dealerships for standards/premiums? I would've hoped for at least a 'P' or something when you select the car, unless we can clearly make out what is what. (maybe the darkened windows means standard or the rims, etc.)

In the list of cars there are multiple models listed as "base models", what does that mean?

Are customizable models with multiple racing liveries?

True 24h cycle transition or just a Effeil/Toscana transitions ?

Yeah that's really annoying

Probably just no livery, so you can paint it whatever you want it to look like

Course Maker, data logger, and B-spec in future updates. Was this already known or is this new ?

It was suggested by kaz, so yeah it's not surprising.

We may get some of them on the Day 1 patch.

Thats it, i'll but the game when the XL edition or whatever edition similar to that. I just wanted the conplete cars (come on PD, mclaren P1 and Koenigsegg Agera needs to be in the game)

Oh my gooooooooood just got back to this, Firstly I am kind of furious we're not getting a Livery editor :indiff: and looks like no mention of new sound and AI.

Features aside the track and car list are insane. Plus the new tuning upgrades are incredible. Will take time to dig in all the info.

Kudos to @amar he said they'll be news today.

@Nanaki - it was suggested, but not concrete. This is confirmation.

Personally, I think it's a bad move. I understand they want to update these features versus what we have in GT5, but omitting them completely from the shipped game means it's showing up with a significantly smaller set of features than its predecessor, despite being on the same platform. For those without internet connection, it'll be most unfortunate.

This seems interesting:

The information given is:

restores a damaged car to its former glory using high-quality sheet metal and paints that will have it looking just like new. Resin parts will also be remoulded and replaced and to complete the service...

This is actually distinguished seperately from restore rigidity. So...if you car gets a big dent in it, you actually need to take it to the repair shop this time around? It's only 500 credits, so seems kinda ok.

Not to mention being able to buy your outfits whenever for credits. Seems like they are making much better use out of them, compared with how relatively redundant they are now in GT5.

* - So long as it's one colour. **

** - Probably.

:P

You know, I'd welcome the idea of unlockable liveries for base model cars if they're attainable as race prizes, similar to suits and helmets in GT5. Depends on how many they'd include though.

I just checked all of the new information released on the website. It all looks so awesome, particularly the customization, vehicles and career!

One of my dreams in GT was to have beaten up cars.

I'll never fix half of my cars. Gotta keep the BATTLE SCARS! MWAHAHA!

Thanks all for your replies ;)

And yes, I, too, think it's a bad move. Hardcore fans like we are, know that it'll come soon with an update. But general VG reviewers and casu/mid-core gamers will be angry about this. This is bad news for marketing and sales.

Not sure though it typed the same as Le Sarthe, Bathurs and Nurburgring, so more than likely 24hr.

It looks seems if you damage your car it stay until you fix it. 👍👍:dopey:

Cheapest body repair ever - damn expensive in real life :/

If it cost more, people will be driving a lot cleaner for sure...
carbon fiber cars should cost a lot more as well....

If you could right off a car after a certain damage threshold even better ;)
After a point it's hard to restore metal back to it's proper shape

I'm curious about SSR7, for GT5 it was said to be an unfinished track or a 'nothing to it' sort of track. So wondering if they updated it or made any major changes to it.

For those wondering about the lunar rover, remember in GT5, we had the Kübelwagen. What was that doing in GT5? In any case, I liked the inclusion. (reading the car list, also coming to GT6, woo-hoo)

what happened Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and A45 AMG??' Mercedes-Benz press release also confirms both
The gran-turismo.com site still says "over 1200 cars", but listed are only 1197 so far.

Possible that we'll get a separate announcement. Especially because Mercedes has been quite a big partner so far and is also part of the Vision GT thing. We'll see...

Where did you find this picture? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the GT website.

''It is now possible to simultaneously place 2 cars in locations to photograph.'' You can find it under Tools, here.
