Below is from the main US Gran Turismo page, it's quite a hefty list of yet to be delivered features... Though it clearly states "coming soon", some of these features are massive. Others seem almost unfeasible post launch like 3D...

If you can think of anything else feel free to add it.

Red Bull X Challenge
The fastest racing car on earth, born from the collaboration between Gran Turismo and Red Bull Racing’s genious Adrian Newey. The X2010, will now undergo a new evolution to become the X2014 year model.
In GT6 there are a total of 3 models in the lineup, each with a different level of performance. There is a compact entry level formula called the “Junior”, a “Standard” model with conventional suspension and aerodynamics, and the “Fan Car”; the model with the ultimate downforce and speed with its active suspension and fan mechanism.
In GT6, players can learn to drive pure formula cars in steps through the “Red Bull X Challenge”, guided by the champion, Sebastian Vettel.

Community
Players can create their own clubs, communicate with one another in the forums and organise race events for their members. It is possible to select from a private racing club, and a public racing club that is open to everyone. This feature will be added in a future update.
icon_online_quick.png

Quick Match
This mode is for those who want to get in and race online right away. Matching is performed according to preset regulations, and the race will start when there are enough participants. This feature will be added in a future update.
icon_b_spec.png

B Spec
The B spec mode is a mode where you give precision instructions to your driver. This popular feature from previous versions of GT will be added in a future update. Look forward to the new, more powerful B Spec mode.

Course Maker
This feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game. Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content.
icon_data_logger.png

Data Logger
This feature allows you to analyse your saved replay data to show Speed, Engine RPM, Throttle Input, Gear Position, Steering Angle, etc. in a graphical format. This feature will be added in a future update.

GPS Visualiser
In a future update, we will add the GPS Visualiser. This is a feature that allows you to import Controller Area Network (CAN), used to regulate automobile systems, and GPS coordinate data from a real life car into Gran Turismo 6, and visualise the data as a replay in the game. The feature is planned to be compatible with the Toyota Motor Corporation’s CAN-Gateway ECU.

Mobile Devices
Online community features can be accessed through the iOS Safari and standard Android browsers. In addition, a future update will provide linked features through a specialised mobile device app.

3D Compatibility
Compatibility with 3D TV’s will be added in a future update.

Very good info!

Red Bull - will definitely be racing all 3 on the X10 track.

Community - OUTSTANDING IDEA!!!

Quick Match - Another OUTSTANDING idea! If you've got limited time and just want to get in and race!!! Great! I've logged on and waited and waited for the guy to start the race.

B Spec - hopefully it'll have an automatic feature to it! Where you and your "Community" can race each others drivers without having to be present like the Grinder did! That would be the bomb!

Course Maker - have already been thinking about where I'm gonna drive to Mobile GPS a track!!!

All sounds good, just don't forget the additional cars & tracks via DLC!!!

So nothing about the KW 7-post rig ?, I see data-logging, but that'll probably just end up like the GT4 one, nothing I could use for suspension tuning.

They proved they can add cars on the fly, even if the M4 may have been on the disk, they have a direct CMS system that enables them to push updates independent of weekly psn updates.

After a few days with GT 6 the lack of content is really starting to show. It's like GT 5 had dozens of things you could do, but GT 6 has only a few... It's really missing all the personal touches like custom home screen, daily bonuses, museum, home space, gifting, sharing cars, bobs, friends list (to come with clubs?), endurance races, special events, 3D, etc.

I guess that's what it takes to release a GT on time... I hope these updates come soon! And I really wish they would have made offline play make use of all the online settings... We could have easily had proper racing series! A dirt racing license section would be fantastic too! But this isn't a wish list thread.

But man, GT 6 looks great... Like every time I boot it up it looks better...

What? I'm finding more to do in GT6... The one thing I agree with you is the museum, that was a nice way to teach people the history of the automobile. Oh and endurance racing. Other than that, meh.

YES!!! A livery editor!!!!! OH wait....
I would point out that Kaz mentioned in an interview or two that the team is working on content that they're keeping secret:

You mentioned the Senna content in May, (linkie) can you give us any sort of timeline as to when we can expect the other major features to be released, such as the Course Maker, online community features, etc.?

We don’t have a definite order yet of things, but, you know, January, February, March, April, May, etc., we have updates planned for each of those months, and there are actually more things too which we still can’t mention! [Laughs.]

7 post rig? What a complete waste of time. This would be the most boring feature ever.

With all the 'base models' it says you can 'customize them with your own colors and numbers' (roughly translated from what it says in the Dutch version). So I think the livery editor is one of those secret things they don't want to tell us about yet.

Plus, why else would there be so many 'base models', with a description that you can 'customize' them, in the game? A livery editor is a certain if you ask me, it's just a mystery when it'll come.

Also the community feature is one I look forward to :D

When and where has anyone from PD said livery editor in any interview? - you can customise the colour and numbers, and that is all.

Anyone who wants to learn about automobiles can find lots of information on the internet. The Museum was a needless feature that bloated save games to the point where it actually caused save game corruption.

I'm glad it's gone, and pray that it doesn't return unless there is an ability to mass delete the cards.

that info has been available since before the game was launched to the world. and we are now seeiong a thread for this? I figure that we will see endurance races once b spec has been given to the game 👍
edit: also I think the endurance races might go under the special events list. Not part of the normal career mode. but its just my guess.

The only one on that list I care about is the B-Spec, and only if we can use them to simulate swapping driving duties in endurance races and that only matters if we actually get some endurance races.

Secret things? Must be a Mars rover or an ocean explorer ;)
