Yes, unfortunately. You'd like to think that after rarely spending a penny by using all of the prize cars you get, you'll have to blow your hard-earned Credits away in a car just to pass a mandatory championship to advance. A LMP is well worth the investment though, but still...

I used the ford gt40 mk1 to compete with chaparal, toyota 7, etc on that event

Also, until you arrive at the last race of A international, where you need a Le Mans race car, and you are to soon there, you need to save up for one to actually beat those races...

Those look like dealership prices to me. Selling a car gets you 33.33% of the original price.

Stock, I feel the Peugeot 908 is better in handling. But theyre both great, not much between them.

The group C cars probably shouldn't be allowed but it wouldn't surprise me very much

I was deciding between the Mazda 787b and the Sauber C9 in the end, not a big fan of the R18 cockpit, at least not the couple times I drove it on Goodwood. But I couldn't resist the look on the Mazda 787b's face.

After all it's one of my favorite cars of all time. I completely destroyed the GT World Championship with it!

nice joke fella but seriosly it's easy to win that race with GT40. I bought the anniversary edition, that is why I have that car so early without spent my money hahaha

I used the Minolta a lot in GT5, fantastic car!

I havent checked whether the R18 aniversary is able to use, but I surely hope you can!!
I bought the Bentley Speed 8, that will do it, completely spent all my won credits though.... :S

Indeed the GT86 aniversary need to be bought,to win those brand races.

Im quite sure you need a Le Mans car to beat the Gran Turismo World Championship (the championship before entering S rank races), so you need to buy 1, I bought the Bentley Speed 8 for it. My Mercedes SLS GT3 aniversary was a little too slow, I merely tested it shortly though...

i tried looking for the answer to this question for a while, but i didn't find anything. can we obtain a prize car from a racing series more than once to help with money grinding, like GT4 and before? I know License prize cars are obtainable only once, and in GT5 they made all prize cars like this.
