And the people blaming PD. MB is the one responsible for this, not PD because their the ones who built it and PD recreates it. So why PD is getting blamed for something MB didn't even do in the first place is way beyond my understanding....

You just quoted a post showing one of the interior renders, then blame Mercedes and say they didn't do it in the first place? PD even included an interior shot in the VGT menu, which was posted on the previous page.

There's no point defending PD when they clearly had an interior to work with, but failed to implement it in the actual car when it became available. Makes it seem more like a rush job on their part just to get the car in the game by day one. But I expect them to patch it in soon enough, and maybe fix the rest of those standards while they're at it.

As clearly seen on the official GT6 page, the interior is done. It's PD's job to model it. They failed at doing so.
But as always, we have some people rushing to the defence of PD, because surely, PD never does anything wrong. PD's becoming the laughing stock of the games industry, and the fact that they clearly aren't aknowledging it, is just sad.

What's on their page is an illustration. It's not actually modeled, it's just a 2d drawing of what they would like it to look like. MB still has to finalize the interior. They wanted to get the car out there without the interior, and PD obliged. It's all on MB.

That's right. You can clearly see the black 'silhouette' of the interior in the video. They're clearly not done modelling it, and that's the reason it's black for the moment.

The car maker doesn't need to model the car or it's interior for the game. This is the game developer's job.
Mercedes simply didn't felt like doing a 3d modelling of the interior, what takes a lot of time and effort, and simply did a 2d rendering of it. PD's should be finishing modelling it, and it will come in a future patch, it seems.

Please do share with us your source on Mercedes telling PD to not include a detailed interior. So far, all the evidence suggests that the interior is done and ready to be modelled by PD. You know, that's their job. Not MB's.

I don't know what is most sad. That people will defend PD's pathetic design decisions and pure incompetence, or that PD still haven't upped their standard.

But hey. They've only had a grand total of 8 years to do things like model cars and traks for GT6...

On another note. If the car isn't done, then why on earth would they include it? They certainly don't seem to be in a rush to include the sound changes (another thing they've had countless years to work on), or the course maker that we've yet to get details about. How the hell this company is still in business is amazing, now that I think about it.

You just contradicted yourself. You want the interior to be there, but just said yourself it takes a lot of time and effort. Based on that illustration, that looks like a very concept-esque and unfinished interior, and therefore should be treated as such. You guys completely ignored the fact that the GT-R Proto didn't have an interior either, and that's because the interior was still being conceptualized.

Take the trolling elsewhere.

well turn 10 is in the good way to surpass them huh :indiff:

Gimme a break, man. What the #$% are you saying?! I just contradicted myself?! This must be a joke.
And the guy says I'm trolling... dude, I won't respond you accordingly, but I'm seriously pissed.
Please show me where I said I "wanted the interior to be there". Please, for I can't see it.
But then, try to learn something about marketing first, and then talk to me again.

At least as you can see in this video the car has a wheel inside...so it must have an actual interior.

The model is not finished in my opinion as of yet. Will PD update it? We´ll never know...yet

Quoted the wrong person. My bad. But really... you get butthurt too easy. Don't get all pissy over a thread post, haha.

I have a few concerns about the cockpit view, could it be that Mercedes only finished the interior recently and that's why PD didn't have enough time to model it for the game? I mean, I thought that PD had to take pictures of an actual interior made first before doing the modeling. If not, then I'll just retract what I said.

Wow, I don't see the huge issue here. Either the interior hasn't been finalized or PD just didn't have the time to model it yet. We don't know exactly when they got the final concept from MB, but even so, it's not like we haven't been through this before. They put out a concept car with a black interior, then either they patch it in later or we get an updated car with interior. What the hell is the big fuss about? :odd:

Agree or disagree, PD could never win because if they didn't include the MB-VGT on day 1 due to lack of interior people would still troll.:indiff:

The interior shots were first shown by Mercedes around the same time the car was unveiled last month, IIRC. PD clearly had the exterior modeled by that point, and chances are they've been working on the interior since then but have yet to finish it.

I was suspecting that was the case.
I was being accused of trolling at the end. Until you responded you were directing it to someone else, the accusation would be credited to me. Of course I was pissed. And it takes a lot for me to get mad, believe me.
But then, it's cool.

Clearly I am not trying to defend PD. To me, that photo was some sort of concept design to prepare or something. Have we ever seen the MB VGT from the inside irl? I will await and see if PD does patch it in, but it's still silly to me to just blame them over something that'll take who knows how long.

My theory is that the interior was never planned, but Mercedes guys went berserk and made it plus they made real life 1:1 scale model we know wasn't planned. Remember video with that Merc? GT6 version in game wasn't exactly the same as Mercedes last version. Now we have car in game that is exactly the same as the car designeg by Merc, so car in game was updated last minute. Even at recent LA show we saw Vision GT Merc with huge wing which was previous Mercedes design.

Only person to blame is PR guy who let those interior design go public.

I'll share my source as soon as you show your source where Mercedes gave PD the go ahead on completing the finalized interior...

It's not really about defending PD as much as it's not jumping to a conclusion you clearly know nothing about...

Alright then, I'm retracting what I said then.

I've only referred to the rendered interior shots Mercedes released a few weeks ago. Though I can't say how much longer PD have had to work with what Mercedes gave them.

It's not really about defending PD as much as it's not jumping to a conclusion you clearly know nothing about...

And the same can be applied to those who blame Mercedes.

Here's an image I edited as to try to show you that PD simply didn't finish modelling the interior of the car yet.

As you can see, it's the same model, but it's lacking several features in the GT6 engine, and that's probably why they've left it as it is right now.
