GT6 - The magic is back

As an avid fan of the Gran Turismo series since the release of GT1 I found myself disappointed with the offline portion of GT5. GT4 was such a deep game with license tests that mattered, missions, one-make races, so on. The offline portion of GT5 seemed shallow in comparison and the fun factor wasn't there anymore. I'm pleased to find that the magic is back and GT6 career mode is a lot of fun. Kudos PD for good design and implementation. Really enjoying the new physics as well. There are graphics performance issues most notably in the interior (cockpit) view as some have pointed out. I've addressed that by sticking to the full screen (aka bumper cam) view and the performance has been fine so far. The one wish-list item I'd like to see is a GT4 track pack DLC.

Glad to see I'm not the only person who feels that GT6 brings back that GT vibe. GT5 just didn't feel like GT, it had the nice physics and decent graphics that GT is accustomed to, but GT5 just lacked that vibe.

Oh you are not alone it's just most of us are busy playing the game. :D I feel the same way. I also would like a GT4 track pack. We have already seen Seattle Circuit in that NSX intro video so we know that's definitely in the pipeline. I hope El Capitan and Grand Canyon return as well as New York, Seoul, and Hong Kong.

Agreed here too - I have found myself falling in love with GT almost as if for the first time. I put it down to two things mostly, the physics and the deeper career structure (so far) than GT5. :)
