bought and installed this morning with its updates. Has anyone noticed that there is a general decrease in PP? I have not had the opportunity yet to check all the cars, but many race cars have roughly 5-10 pp less than in version 1.00

Interesting. Not only are some cars cheaper, but also others are lower PP. Wow.

I think someone who is able to should do a new Dealership video so that we can compare.

At least I hope, that this time they have studied well the PP to give to each machine. I'd hate to not just see the PP of my car, upset with some updating.
Another thing that strikes me as strange is that the Audi R18 marks 624pp (a little bit, in my opinion, since the rest of the other LMP), while the Deltawing less performance (the black), it has more than 660.
Something did not come back ...

I can confirm that, I took this photo of the AE86 yesterday. Never get any notice saying I was too close.

Too close warning was a photo travel i believe.

I think something changed in the braking physics with v1.01.
With ABS off it feels like it's significantly harder to lock tires than with v1.00, even by increasing brake power.
I wonder if it's now working more like a proper bias adjustment for the available braking power rather than actually adjusting directly the total braking power (higher brake balance value sum = higher total braking power) like in GT5 and apparently GT6 v1.00.

Also it looks like I can't adjust the brake bias in real time anymore with RA adjustment and the DFGT wheel in Free Run mode. I swear I could in v1.00, although verification by others would be helpful.

Yeah, noticed that the driving without ABS is significantly easier. In GT5, you could barely drive a FF car without ABS and 5/5 brake bias. In GT6, it's super easy. I wonder if it's actually applying less total braking power than with ABS on, even using the same brake bias. Braking at high speeds with ABS feels more brutal. Without ABS, wheels only lock at lower speeds.

There are some FR cars where locking the wheels is still pretty easy. In GT5, to avoid the car from getting sideways under braking, I left my foot on the accelerator to offset the excessive braking power on the rear wheels (with 5/5 BB). I don't need to do that anymore on GT6.

Is the money glitch on willow spring and Ascari tracks fixed?

Another thing, i think the Sennas's Lotus Renault was aded in the update too, cause y don't think PD woll show a car in the intro of the game, if is not in the game, do you think? Now we'll just need to find out on wich event we can win that car :D

On this subject, I tried installing the brake kit on the Fit RS for the Seasonal. Before, I had left the balance at the default 5/5 (no ABS). With the brake kit installed and the same bias, all wheels locked up instantly upon braking. Even on 2/2 the front wheels still locked up very quickly.

Brake physics have definitely changed from GT5!

Oh cool, that's good to know.

After some more testing it looks like brake power depends on the car.
In GT6 powerful cars have powerful brakes which lock easily if the ABS is turned off, even with low settings.
I don't quite agree with this choice. Any car should be able to easily lock its brakes. What should change is the fading resistance.

Does anyone know if the patch will make your gamestop car code work? The code isn't working right now but I haven't installed the patch. Downloading it now.

Just installed today GT6 directly with 1.01 update and i didn't get Mercedes as a gift :(
weird...

@sorg You have to go in to Vision Gran Turismo from the main menu -> Mercedes -> Select the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo and press the "Receive as gift" button.

Attention, other changes:

Keep in mind I play using a Driving Force GT.
Yesterday I downloaded the patch and some things that I haven't seen mentioned here changed:
- Framerate of the wipers when in cockpit view improved in some cars;
- You can now use R1 and L1 to switch pages on the menus;

However, today's morning I got a prompt for an update, in game. Nothing like a patch, but an update, that downloaded and installed. I have no idea what changed, except for this:
- I now can no longer use R1 and L1 to switch pages on the menus, AGAIN;
- After ending a race and going back to the race selection menu in career mode, the cursor goes automatically to the left as if I am pressing left on the d-pad (it even makes the sound of the cursor moving);

So, anyone experiencing this same problem? And does anyone know what that little update today brought?

a bit sad, but hey if you want an expensive car soon...

No, it's a good thing. At least some people won't have to buy in-game currency with a real currency. Microtransactions are just ****ing stupid. It's not like GT6 is a free game. Or is it? I payed 60€ for it. Did I got scammed again? Are some stores running an illegal business of selling things with no value for real money?

truthfully, all games fit this definition. value is set by demand. they can charge $60 because we are willing to pay it. micro transactions were introduced because some people would rather waste their money and PD would like to have it. they wouldnt have bothered if there wasnt demand.
