GT7: A.I. Question

Question: Does the GT7 A.I. respond to the blue flag when seen on the track?
Or is the blue flag only waved for the player when they are coming upon slower cars to be lapped?

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. If you stay really close behind them they eventually move after a while.

Same is true in races, if you push hard enough and flash lights permanently they will turn on their indicators and move. But not always.

Oh, and then they come back, drive besides you into the next corner, leaving no space and send you to the shadow realm ;-)

The AI are such unforgiving drivers. They have hit me and spun me out a lot. They also like to rear end my car. Where's the fun in that!? I just hope Sophy makes things a whole lot better.

They respond... very late. I've lost count of the number of times I pulled out to pass and they pulled to the side to let me by at the same time and I smashed into them.

LOL!!! I do admit the AI is a bit rubbish.
I hope Sophy is a big improvement.

Sophy is likely to be a challenge race against 1 ai car.. not a replacement for 20grid races in single player.
Of course, i could be wrong.

The AI are such unforgiving drivers. They have hit me and spun me out a lot. They also like to rear end my car. Where's the fun in that!? I just hope Sophy makes things a whole lot better.

I was on the last lap of the 30 minute GR.1 Road Atalanta race in 1st after clawing my way back and a lapped Nissan took me out on the straight away from behind. I don't usually rage quit but that was frustrating. No other Grand Turismo game has been this frustrating and half baked.

LOL!!! I do admit the AI is a bit rubbish.
I hope Sophy is a big improvement.

For some reaseo the AI is better in the coustom races once you figured out, how to set up a good grid...

The AI will only "Move" on the straights.
And they will move off the racing line,
They will not move off the racing line when turns.

Their seems to be different versions of the AI a well.
In some races such as the WTC700, the AI will respond after moving into the side of you.
In the Gr.1 races, they AI will not even care if you are on the racing line, they will just push you off the racing line as you dont exist.
