I don't suffer people gladly, if you go back to the earlier posts to you issues you'll see how I was and am now.

My last post talking about the streamer you talk to was polite and friendly.

You not or I have done anything wrong, however the way you post questions your ability vs talking about stuff that makes fractional difference to your pace.

I'm not going to respond you any further, and quite frankly you are misleading the publically available posts both mine and yours.

I've said nothing wrong or misappropriate however your missing the point of every response to you is a bit bloody odd.

I don't need to converse with you as you are not additive to me life, so you do you, you talk to Rory, you figure out your pedals. But god forbid you are the one that needs to work on things. Good night.

I've just done what you said, here's my raw values that im getting under normal break load with brake force now turned down to 10 percent.

Any ideas ? As you can see the brake force value is 24 percent any ideas ?

I don't think you understand what you're looking at. Unless I'm the wrong one - the green bar is only the raw (unfiltered) input, and the blue bar on the right is what games will be detecting as full brake pressure.

You want the brake force set so you pushing down at your 100% strength makes that blue bar fill up.
 
The screenshot is showing brake force at 70?
oops, I've just done a practice and my tech friend just popped in an hour ago and changed the lead from the wheel to the pedals and I got a 129.6on the wheel for the first time, the car is slowing down better now ?.I think I can go faster and work with it 🙂

But the brake force value is the same sorry I posted the wrong picture.

It looks like you are hitting 100% braking based on what your screenshots show. If my understanding is correct (and it very much could be wrong as I am not a Thrustmaster user) your "RAW Values" is just simply how much pressure you are putting into the load cell (which shows "24.0" and I assume this is in kg), but your "Final values" is the actual signal sent to the game. To check to see what the game is seeing, go into Gran Turismo 7's options, check your wheel calibration screen, press your brake pedal all the way down and see what the game recognizes to be the input.

Hi thanks for the help it's working for me now 🙂 ive just hit 10 consecutive low.1..39 and a few high 1.38 on brans hatch daily races 🙂 and it's just come back as a 1.37. 752 for my optimal time 🙂 just half a second away form the world record.



I'll give you handy tip in return for your pedals, you may already know.

It works every time for me, the bone just before where the bottom of your big toe are on your main pressure point of your feet. It's the flat part of your foot no more than 1 inch away from the bottom of your big toe.

Ok for 25 percent break placing that flat part of your on the bottom of the pedal, for 50 percent it's placing half way up the pedal and for 100 percent it's right at the top of the pedal. And obviously 75 percent is somewhere in between,

Practice this for while and you always hit the mark,.as the guess work soon starts to disappear, to the point where you grow in confidence.

The current record for the Brands Hatch daily race is 1:26.772 So you're either 10 seconds away or you typo'd and you meant your optimal was 1:27.752 but that would still be 1 second off, not half a second.

But you know friend to achieve such a time every corner and every point of breaking and turning in has to be 100 percent precise. I've enjoyed the battle all week for the world record tho. Especially the battle between laporty and another driver I think it was geno, I'm not at home now so I can't check


I watched them beat each other by fractions all week.

But this is how it was for me on Forza on most tracks,
Apart from a few tracks which I always had some kind of a mental block on.

I do really enjoy this side of it, but I'm still adapting to new equipment and I'm still not completely happy with my load cell situation even tho I did finally got it functioning last night to some degree I was still only just about getting my trail break going. Every practice is coming back the same as I go round once I get up to 113 mph on the first corner next time round 112 mph or 111 mph next


World.record.pace is 113 mph, I do get there but it still needs fine tuning for some other corners.

Then it's a case of hitting full revs on one corner afterwards and then maintaining it.
I will on one lap or slightly afterwards on another lap, this is why i'm unable to achieve my optimal time at present.

The main reason being I'm almost certain I need a load cell for these pedals that is not 100 kg load cell as standard. As even tho my car is now stopping in time it's only just.

But I have gone from seeing the potential in my new pedals, as I'm able to do 25 percent brakes 50 75 etc. There good for that, it's the way there made, as I can use the same amount of pressure for 25 50 75 100 just by moving my foot to a different part of the brake.

So I will be posting thrustmaster an email on Monday to see if there is a lesser load cell for these as I'm almost certain if my raw value was going up higher it would improve.


But you know i still just enjoy racing and even when I'm competing for a top ten in Race it's still good.

Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have my situation completely sorted out, as it's now long over due, it's been 3 months of hardware issues for me.

I'm just a bit down in the dumps a little bit now because I can't use my ps5 for teo weeks now. I'm working back down south.

I have to leave my ps5 for my kid to use.

But for most part my kid is using my account not to race online but he does attempt qualifiers, he's dyslexic and he just logs in with my account.

So I think the only way you would be able to compare is to see any lap that is within one to two seconds of the world record it's where I am at present, at present I'll start 4 seconds behind world record on day one and move up to 1 and half to two seconds by the end of the week, but if had more time that would probably be different.

But even if I don't move up I'll take it on the chin and practice practice practice until i do.

It took me a year to get there on Forza Xbox . So it looks like it heading that way here.


But with little time to race online it's going to be at least two months before I'm back on every night,

At most now for the next two months it will mainly be an hour a night and the weekend.

After that I should be able to do .my usual all night racing and get back up to scratch.

That's cool thanks for the info, if I like the the combo I'm usually about 500th in the world and the ones I sweat about 2/300th for dailies but that a few tenths or a couple of hundreds from the top times.

Honestly, we aren't playing the same game or in the same leagues.

I'm just using out of the box stuff from Fanatec and if I had the money I'd buy better stuff. And even using the default stuff I'm ok with it.

I think where we differ and where this all breaks down is it's not the equipment that is the limiting factor it's commitment and ability. There are people in the top 100 who use controllers, so talking about brake force and compression ratios vs being able to actually drive is a bit odd.

I'll make sure to say hi but honestly I don't think we are gonna cross paths any time soon.
