GT7 downloaded to my PS5

I really do hope so, it would be such a crime NOT being able to have alt account without paying for another copy...

You just need the account where you bought the game to use your current PlayStation as the main system and then all other accounts can play that game.

I’m about to purchase GT7 for PS5 and I see in the app I have 2 options, one 70$ and the other is 80$. I checked both have the PS4 & 5 icons so I’m not sure which one I should buy to use for PS5.
My initial reaction is that the cheaper option is for only ps4 and then I’ll have to pay extra 10$ to download it for ps5.

The more expensive version contains both versions (ps4 and ps5). If you select it, it tells you in the description what is included.

Update : I left the PS5 in standby downloading, I’ve since returned to find that it has downloaded a 96.8GB file and it’s locked for 4 days so I’m happy I have the full game. Can’t wait for Friday 👌

There doesn't seem to be other options. It's 3 cars. Don't use them if you don't like them. I'm sure they will come in handy for career mode and for those wanting to start online lobbies right away. I guess you could wait and order it on launch day to avoid the ore order bonus but why?

Fair question with a simple answer: For me having the extra cars and credits ruins the career mode. You're supposed to start with a few credits, buy a cheap little car, and then work your way up from there.

Some might disagree, but I still remember getting the 15th Anniversary Edition GT6 with the 15 bonus cars (some of which where very high powered). Seemed like a good idea at the time and sure they helped me to progress faster, but it just killed the game.

If there really is no other option then I'll just wait and hope that there's no similar bonuses tacked on to the the post launch edition.

I just don't know, I've never seen this before where you cannot access a game with different account.
I bought GT7 on my main account, it's downloaded to my one and only PS4, I switched account to alternate, and it tells me "cannot use the content. To use the content, purchase it from PlayStation Store".
This never happened before with other games I've purchased on main account and used on alt account.
Possible this is PDs way of not allowing alternate accounts to keep bans effectively done?

Mate this happened with me many times when i pre-loaded games. When it comes out on March 4th you will be good.

It'll remain locked on alternate accounts until it becomes available on your main account.

Sorry, but the network resets clock dynamically, tried this on my PS4, I disconnected network ( turned off cable modem wifi), restarted off network, reset clock, turned off, connected network ( turned on cable modem wifi), started PS4 and voila time was reset automatically to my normal time...

Yes, this is why I mentioned disconnect from network, you would have to play offline if indeed it worked so it wouldn't resync the date. Less than a day now anyway

Well you are right. My alternate account started up and I also got the 3 additional cars and credits too
