Hi,

Since a few days, I can't play GT7 for more than 15 minutes before I get a hard crash: the image freezes and there is nothing I can do but force reboot my PS5 by holding down the power button for about 10s.

Since a few weeks I also notice that during the race my T300RS racing wheel is suddenly giving less force feedback. Not completely gone, just less force. Sometimes it comes back after a few corners. When I immediately start a new race, it's back with full force. Cooling is still working. I have the impression it's rather software than hardware related.

I have no idea whether both problems are related. I'm racing with a PSVR2.

I've never had these kind of problems before. Anybody advice on troubleshooting steps?

Thanks!

For me: PS4, with external SSD, no VR, controller or wheel no difference.

I do get freezing since 1.32. I don't have to go as far as rebooting my PS4 however, I do have to exit the game and close it. This isn't a fix, it just lets me start what I was doing over again. And, it does still happen when the game so feels like it.
Mostly occurring when exiting any event in the World Curcits part of the game.

I have also noticed a uptick in the long pauses during my Le Mans grinding. Where the car will just sit there there engine screaming but no movement happening. Then as quickly as it stopped, jump to moving again. Not always where it stopped. A bit like a player using cell phone WiFi to run daily races.

I understand PDs want to collect race data to perhaps improve their AI however, that heavy reliance on the server is affecting the gameplay more then helping and, most likely is the cause of the resent problems with freezing.

My .02 ¥ on that.
