GT7 HUD Options

Hi All

Am I the only one infuriated by the lack of HUD customization?

I mainly drive bumper view or Hood view in sport, but am always distracted by the obtrusiveness of the HUD elements, I find my braking points blocked for just enough time for me to miss them on occasion as well as the bloody lap time, penalty alert and messages blocking my view of the car in front as I'm trying to make a move!

Other that an option to turn it all off there is no options to select what information I want or don't want on screen, or to even change the opacity of the HUD elements.

What grinds me the most and is what I feel the most infuriating thing is the current LAP time clock that's almost smack bang in the center of the view

Has there been discussions anywhere at any time from Polyphony about introducing more HUD customization?

I think as far as PD are concerned their game is perfect. The lack of HUD customization baffles me tbh and unfortunately I can't ever see that changing. At least the option to reposition the lap time would be a start. I play in VR and it drives me mental having it where it is yet if I turn it off the MFD goes as well, ridiculous.

Being able to modify the HUD would be a major quality of life improvement for sure. But, it'll never happen.

Exactly this! There are many bugs and annoyances that have been mentioned here several times. But in the ~1.5 years I play the game I haven't seen any of this addressed by PD. They just don't care.
