gt7 Locks in sport mode

since this morning the game has been stuck in sports mode the page is displayed fine but the cursor disappears and I can no longer do anything except restart the game!! if you have any reasons or solutions please!! thanks in advance

Have you checked your network connection? The game may be trying to pay out a time trial to you but for some reason can't.

Also reboot the console.

thank you for your response!! this has just been unlocked!! this must actually come from the time trial reward!! everything is back to normal!! thank you 😉

Mine's been freezing nearly every day for the last couple of weeks, at the point where I'm collecting the daily mileage reward.

The 'carousel of disappointment' spins around, stops on the reward for that day, and then freezes - I have to exit the game, go back in, and then go back in to claim the reward again. It always works the second time.

I guess most ppl don't even know about this. But to be fair, I have my PS5 for ~2 years now and I spent about 1700 hours on various games (almost 1400 on GT7 alone) and I never cleared the cache since there simply was no reason. Do you really do this on a regular basis?

I am on a PS4 Slim and yes i do this as i will start getting delays and random freeze every now and then if i do not
