First time for Red Bull Ring too. Oh no, wait.
For the 10th time yes (one of them being in the short variant and the other in wet conditions).

Ah well it is what it is as usual just gonna wait for the gold times to settle down so I can start but I do agree this RX Vision TT could've been better on a track that's not used or rarely used.

This was one the best TTs for me, absolutely brilliant combo, and almost in under top 2000!

And new one is ok, first few laps and already close to gold:

Hi guys,

I tried a last session with the Benz at CGV... what frustration!

With always an opti between -0.400 and -0.500, enough to fit into the . 43.xxx but I was unable to gather everything together.

Once, the first chicane too slow, or too much gliding after having gone along the wall, then the second chicane too shy, sometimes significant gaps at the exit of the hair pin, and a few laps ruined in the last chicane... then an automatic disconnection because the end of the TT had sounded.

I am disappointed because the combo was nice, the car fun with its tendency to oversteer.

Congratulations to all !

A consolation: Sarah offered me a 430 Scuderia for my birthday 🤩

I'll definitely be skipping Monza and the Ring, not my cup of tea, not even close. But this one is OK, very hard to put together a good lap, individual sectors I can do well, but of course, the first corner is my arch nemesis, and I spend half an hour restarting just to get a good S1, and then to pat myself on the back, screw up the second turn

But it will be fun, maybe ~32.500 I guess? WR lap is insane already...

I almost feel like Default ABS is a bit faster than Weak ever since the tire model update.

I used to use Default, and then switched over to Weak as I started doing time trials...but the last number of them I have found Default to be faster. Maybe it's just a coincidence?

Quick question:
to participate in the Hyundai N TCR leaderboard and win prize (on the N owner page that the link in the article brings you to) do we actually need to own a Hyundai N car?

No.

A sub 33 is definitely possible but I don't think it possible on the remote .... apex pixel gambling at the last corner 🤣

Fun ride, i realy like the power delivery, its sketchy but predictable.
Uphill hairpin is a real struggle on throttle.

Done for the evening, wife need attention to 🙈🤣

Bonjour!

Guess who is back for the first time in forever!? A Nurburgring trial and a VGT trial clearly enough motivation to get me back into my virtual cockpit. What can I say, I’m not sure what I’ve missed but the two I tried today weren’t bad. I’m a bit sad that the NN trial is a FWD car, it’s quite fun to drive with its grippy diff but the ‘Ring just feels right in a RWD car and we’ve had quite a few TTs on it using FWD. anyways… decent time on the board with lots of improvements to be made, it’s a bit of a tricky one to figure out how to be fast and maybe I’m a bit rusty but we are getting somewhere!

The VGT at RBR, errr… yeah. It’s kinda fun but also very frustrating. As superfastboi @Vule says 7 out of 8 times I make a mess of the first corner, the other 1 of 8 times I don’t even make it to the start line. Why does it feel like this 500hp (imaginary) sports car has an open diff? Anyways there’s some challenge there at least.. some time to be made but I can’t imagine it feeling fun enough to grind much more! Happy to be back near the top of the scoreboard though 😁
