What does the error "The browser you are using is not supported." mean when uploading your SVGs?
I have uploaded using the same browser before.

I used SVGOMG as well as a few other SVG Optimizer websites.
Sometimes the uploader decides it doesnt like a browser but using another browser, computer or even just restarting your own fixes it.
Was that the file you were trying to upload? Its 60kb so it wouldnt work anyway and putting it through a optimizer doesnt quite get it small enough. Had to remove the .9 opacity on everything, it didnt seem to be doing much and took up 3kb.

I used "Words Best SVG Optimizer" t bring it down to around 30kB, then I ran it through SVGOMG which brings it down to 11kB.

Was it Vecta.io? Ran the original then SVGOMG and got errors uploading, Looks like it is reducing by making the path styles into class definitions so it only has to define a path colour once rather then 10 times.
I think that might be the issue, but the whim of the uploader is so arcane that its hard to tell.

Yeah ran Vectra.io
Which gives me this.

I then run that optimized SVG through SVGOMG

Too big, it looks to be 60kb

Can you upload the 6kb format? I'm curious...

Note... if you're using Compare Gzipped in SVGOMG it won't work, and also it might seem pedantic but it's not 'compression', SVGOMG removes unnecessary things, then reduces the number of decimal places in all the node co-ordinates -- compressing infers additional encoding... IIRC Inkscape offers to write in 'compressed SVG', but I don't think that works, 'plain SVG' will probably give you the smallest files as IIRC 'Inkscape SVG' leaves in loads of Sodipodi rubbish. Anything that's compressing is unlikely to be recognised.

Looks like it is reducing by making the path styles into class definitions
In itself this isn't a problem. An embedded style sheet will work and can be worth doing if you're re-using a lot of colours/styles/linewidths etc., but it does need to be written properly.

Would it be possible for someone to make an SVG of this? And also could the "it's the water" part be done too as a separate SVG?

I would gladly PayPal a few dollars/pounds if anyone can do this.

Hello. Getting frustrated over (what should be) simple things again.:banghead:
Since the LetMeFont site is no longer available, I can't figure out how to do text .svgs. Another 2hs. I'll never get back.

All I need is 3 drivers names stacked as shown below. I don't care what font, just need it as a font that is commonly used for drivers names on cars. I was trying to use Bank Gothic font, but any common drivers name font will do. 3 separate decals, or just one, it doesn't matter.

S.Vettel
D.Ricciardo
M.Webber

Color doesn't matter, as long as it's changeable.

Thank you.

Is there an effective way to search for decals in game with multiple tags? Being limited to a single word makes it very difficult to look up certain stuff

the gt7 website searches content for keywords, not just tags. Beyond that I can't tell you, but it is much more effective than using the search directly in the game.

Actually the website does allow you to search with several words.
Sorry, that is what I meant. The question was “in game” so I was trying to say the website is better, but the in game answer is no. Brevity does not always equal clarity, I should have committed to a full sentence .

Sorry for my English, I'm French! 😅
I thought you were saying the website was a little bit better but didn't allow that.

And you're right, the question was "in game".

So to be clear with our friend, you can use several words on the website and add the decals you found to your collection and instantly be able to use them in the game.

And while we talk about that, the research system is awful!
While in the livery editor you can add to a favorite folder but can't like and repost in order to thank the creator... and if you are in the showcase you can L&R but can't add to your favorites! :dunce:

Unless I've missed something... :scared:

Im a Roadhog fan and i was disheartened to find no Roadhog decals in the game. I have these images here i tried to do on my own but i obviously have no idea what i am doing. I would very much appreciate it if someone more knowledgeable could convert these for me so i can rock out in a Roadhog-mobile

(Ignore my first post. This should have more usable image files)

I tried to follow umpteen instructions to do it myself but i plain can't do it and im at a total loss. I REALLY want these for some Roadhog-inspired liveries. There's practically no Overwatch stuff in the game other than D.va, Tracer and Genji
Ok so i was wondering how people find logos etc they want converted. I found these on google image search but i was wondering if there was a way to find smaller size versions or ones that can be more easily converted because i was wondering how people were finding images of logos they wanted and getting them put in game

Smaller size? You want as big as possible lol.
You can also search for "logo vector" or "SVG" "EPS" or "AI" for direct vectors.
Could very well be the logo is on https://worldvectorlogo.com/

These are just too detailed to be anywhere close to 15kb.

Apologies if everyone already knows this, but this site makes text in a vast amount of fonts in .SVG that work in the livery editor as long as size less than 15kb. I've made a load of text SVGs for my NASCAR liveries and all seem to work fine.

If size over 15kb then this site seems to work for compressing them a little.

This is a fantastic tip for people without the right software!
Nice find!!

That wording is confusing. I want them small so they fit within the 15 kb limit. I've seen very detailed stuff on the game. All im trying to do is find versions that are either small enough to go in or be converted to go in. I know it can be done because there's already Overwatch stuff in the game for Tracer, Dva, Genji and Reaper. Basically just some artwork or their sprays. If i could get small enough versions of the sprays, that would be tops

All that compressing thing does is change the file into an unusable type. Trying to change it back to a usable type explodes the size again. In fact no matter what i do, the size is inconsistent. A image could be 16.3 kb but the most comically small one is 17.1.

I literally saved the exact same image twice!! No changes between them but they're different sizes!!
