Not piling on or having a pop at you, I would just echo for everyone else what @ikon_313 said. I skipped your request because even replicating the faux logo you had previously would have essentially resulted in a poor quality decal, so I did go looking for the original, but as Ikon says, with no context the chances of finding anything were slim to none.

As a note to everyone, I redraw stuff because I think it gives the best quality at the smallest file size, that Samurai logo about took about 1hr:20mins, if people don't put any effort into their request, why should I put the effort in to making it.
That last sentence is what made me feel to point it out in my earlier post.

As I was looking at the La Rossa logo inside Illustrator and contemplating ways to recreate it, the fact that the source logo's small text was only blobs and a quick web search with just the name only drew blanks annoyed the hell out of me. But since I already had it in a vector program and the main font on my computer, I quickly added the blobs and the oval and called it done.

I think the issue is that only few people really know what it takes to squeeze high quality in smallest file sizes, despite the process being document pretty well and knowledge shared by others. Adding to this, not everyone wants or needs the highest quality and just wants to have their decal in the game in some way.

You always take it to the next level. I have great respect for your dedication. Thank you for the continuous contributions to the GT community.

This is absolutely true, but I wouldn't want it to be a reason to negate what people hope to achieve with their liveries. I lack creativity, even though I have a degree of skill with the tools... I've been making decals for people since before I even had GT Sport, because I don't want people that have the creativity to miss out because they don't have the skill with the tools....

The funny thing is, I used to be dead set against a livery editor. I would post about how it would lead to low quality liveries, and penises on everything, about how it would besmirch PDs excellent 3D models with terrible low res graphics. I've almost never been happier to be wrong, the livery editor is fantastic tool for creating things - which is great - and like I said above, if making decals helps more people unlock that creativity I'm all for it... I just don't have infinite time available to do (or help) people with decals.

edit: I'm self taught.. this livery includes pretty much every technique ...

This is beyond amazing! Without a doubt the best livery I have ever seen!!!! You poured your heart into this and it came out incredible! I can’t imagine the amount time and layers this took. As you stated, You have taught yourself beyond well. Geeeez. A seamless display of Pink Floyd awesomeness! Thankyou for sharing!

There's still an image embedded in the svg file, a gradient on the orange circle with countless unnnessecary stops sharing the same position and SVG filter effects like shadows (this is what is probably causing the image embedding of the rendered filters/effects). These inflate the file size and won't work on import. The file is around 15kb after all of these issues have been addressed. Haven't tested the file in game, though.

Which software did you use to create the svg, if I might ask?
Sorry @ikon_313 just got around to reading this post.

I used Canva to create the SVG, and to vectorize I used a different program (cant recall the program to be honest). I do appreciate all the help that all you graphics gurus do here.

Could I get the fueled by 808 without the spray paint border

I am looking for old NY license plate, something like this...
s-l400 (1).jpg

I know and understand this is not the best image to make a decal from but it is the best I could find.
I do appreciate all efforts and please reply if or not possible.

Thank you.

Hi everyone, I created a pattern on the bottom left which I then converted to path. I want to paste this pattern into the rectangle on the right; however, Inkscape decided to use a random-floating-invisible object at the top which I don't even know where it's from?! I can't select this invisible object unless I'm on the Pattern Along Path effect, and changing this invisible object also changes my real objects on the bottom left? I've tried latest Inkscape 1.4 and the same problem persists. Anyone can help please?? Thanks!

for context, I wanted to create a repeated pattern consisting of number 26 just like the livery on Brumos Racing's Porsche 911 here:

The ghost path at the top is the same shape as upright 2's top, so i dont think that the pattern is a single path rather a group of paths. For pattern along path to work you will need to combine the 26's into a single path using Union.

Edit: If you are going for the pattern in the picture more exactly you might need to use envelope deformation to get curvature on the front

It unfortunately still did not work.. you're right about upright 2's top, it was the first object I created then I copied it to make that 26 pattern. However, I've converted this pattern to path, group and Union them together but the same problem still persists. What the heck is wrong with my Inkscape

The path effect seems to be using the wrong source, If the pattern wasnt a single complete path when it was being selected as the source but was then grouped/unioned/altered is some way then thats confused it abit.

If the 26 is now a single complete ungrouped path then reselecting it as the source for the path effect or just remaking the path effect entirely might fix it.

Or it could be someother problem I cant think of, seeing the file would be easier to diagnose.

This is the file, appreciate if you are able to figure it out. Thanks in advance

Can someone re-create this Indonesian license plate based on this picture but with different numbers and letters? Thanks in advance. Sorry for spamming this thread 😅

Pretty much what I thought it was, It refused to union until ungrouping a few times and then altering the source messed up the pattern on path target. Fiddled around and remade the square path, the corners are messed up but thats more right tool wrong way to use it. Made examples of how to create a field of the 26's on the right of the fixed file and an example of the finished field after its been put through https://xerocho.github.io/svgomg/
