In a totally imaginary situation, let's say PD is offering a demo for GT8 BUT it is limited to one track only. 6 months prior to full release.

Which track would you pick ?

I listed only currently available tracks on GT7 but you can choose "Other" and name the track in your answer.

I doubt Special Stage X will get much votes, but who knows 😅

Something new, because what's the point of a new game otherwise?
In case of a demo of a continuation, I would say it should be a track that was available in the last game to show what new the game has to offer on visuals. Because to me that is what I expect of a GT game: looking good.
And there is much that GT8 could improve on, the question is whether they can deliver on PS5 or dont attempt to change.

I chose Other. I figure if it is a “new” track , never before seen in GT8(!) they’d go with a legacy track in Autumn Ring. Show off the leaves, sky, birds, track surfaces. All that lovely stuff.

Northern Isle Speedway with the current Honda Fit :P

But if I'm being serious, (With a bit of bias) it gotta be Sepang (in the rain) with any current Super GT cars from 2020 onwards

I’d imagine PD would pick one of the classic tracks, either one that was already in GT7 (So that they can showcase what’s improved) or a new remake of an OG track
Personally, I’d like to see Apricot Hill, Autumn Ring or the original Grand Valley Speedway

I’d showcase an all-new city course. Especially since I hypothesize that the relative lack of city courses in GTS/GT7 is due to hardware constraints. Maybe a new course set in Manhattan, though with a different layout since the city itself has undergone tons of changes since the NYC track was made for GT4.

EDIT: Plus I think using an original course would also help the new installment set itself apart from other realistic racing games that also use real-world circuits like Nurburgring and Spa-Francorchamps, such as iRacing and Assetto Corsa.

Special Stage Route 11 GT3 version.
If the track was to be taken from GT7, then Sainte Croix.
If it was to be a real track, I'm not sure... heck with it. Let's simulate mudding at Cross Bar Ranch. There are already many good real tracks in Gran Turismo, why not add a new one?
