The people making these trailers really need to put a bit more effort into making them feel believable. I saw another fake trailer that just had an AMG One driving around some random town centre... like, seriously?

What could PD even do right now with a GT8? There hasn't been a new hardware generation yet. They can update GT7's physics, cars, tracks, everything. What would we need GT8 for?

At its core GT7 is a PS4 game. GT8 would be (assuming it's not cross gen again) a "proper" PS5 game.

A few months ago I thought I read on a page that GT8 would be released in 2025, which would be entirely wrong, though a GT8 launch date could be said to be somewhere in 2026 but then the usual delays, so 2027 seems realistic.

Those cover designs are questionable to say the least.....plus you cant always trust a user-derived wiki fandom page. The page also incorrectly states PS5, 6 & 7, we have not seen any of that yet, the next installment would still be PS5/PS5 Pro only, not further.Gran Turismo 8

I mean, the URL of that site literally has the term "fanon" in the name. Nobody should be taking anything it says remotely seriously.

Its fake. But i dont think we should be supriced if its revealed this year.
While i have enjoyed gt7 for many hours. It feels like something is missing. And the updates does very little to bring back excitement back to the game.
I would much rather have a new gt at this point if it meant we could have new single player experince maybe with sophy ai. And drop ps4 support back behind.

GT8 isn't coming out for at least 2.5 years, probably 3. Relax.

GT needs a complete overhaul in terms of graphics and sounds. Physics are great but still need improving.
GT8 would benefit from a whole new next gen engine.

I think it is the exact opposite of that.
While graphics and sound are nice, they lack real detail and are hold back by obvious cuts to save a bit of performance (for whatever reason).
Physics are the big no, constantly changing because they never nail it.
Im close to calling "just use UE5 already".

Being a 1st Party Developer, PD will provide input into the design philosophy of the PS6 and receive early development kits. The point being, GT8 will be in development before any hardware announcement is made public.
