A quick tour of my main garage.

i was planning on making such video too, yours made me do mine tonight, after the first garage i realized that it would take a long time editting them all like that, so it goes a bit quicker after the 1st :D sorry for that :P

Finally got around to snapping some shots of the Sultan RS...

The car scene is forever changing. From the outrageous, unnecessary bodykits of the early 2000s, to the slammed and stanced cars of today, you can never be short of variety. In a city as diverse as Los Santos, you're bound to find every aspect of the car community reflected on the streets. After the rebirth of Benny's Original Motor Works, more and more explicit builds are roaming the city streets. First releasing a line of lowrider kits for classic rides, Benny has now brought out some more modern tuning parts. Elise, my crazy, misfit, psycho of a character, jumped at the chance of building her own street machine.

First, she jacked a completely stock metallic black Karin Sultan from a (mostly) innocent hillbilly in Sandy Shores. After kicking his head in to make sure he wouldn't miss the car, she quickly drove her new ride back to Los Santos and pulled into Benny's and let him do his work. Some hundreds of thousands of dollars later, this was the result.

But Elise wasn't done there. Never one to leave anything alone, she set about making this a personalised build, adding her own unique touches to the car. After all, she had previously built a Benefactor Schwartzer to her requirements for her 'activities' amongst the streets.

Many late nights were spent fine-tuning the Karin. Benny was good, but he could never give it that personal touch she liked. Even if he could, he'd charge too much.

Finally, after many cups of coffee, bust knuckles and many, many swear words, the Sultan was done. Elise instantly fell in love.

The car is now her weapon of choice when doing her 'work'. A quicker, louder and flashier replacement for her Schwartzer.

The twin-cam engine hasn't been left untouched either. Elise practically stripped the engine bare and rebuilt it with upgraded pistons, rods, cams, valves, pulleys, and a custom head machined by LS Customs. A custom straight-through titanium race exhaust also made by LS Customs makes sure the neighbours know when she's home.

A custom-made fuel cell by Benny has been installed in the back, accompanied by a custom fuel pump. All costing far too much.

The interior wasn't left untouched either. Now fitted with a roll cage, two bucket seats complete with harnesses, an upgraded steering wheel and a hydraulic handbrake.

Expect to see this Sultan RS mowing down pedestrians and off-loading sticky bombs on a street near you.

Oh man, that thing looks sick. I feel like changing mine now lol

@Katiegan That Sultan looks wicked!

Rat-a-tat

I jumped back onto GTA for the Sultan RS, then saw how ridiculous the prices were... :(
went back to SP and built myself a Rat Truck (online version is still a WIP). I wanted something a little different from the usual low rider rims everyone seems to go for.

Ended up building the RS anyway but now I'm broke as hell...

I always wanted to build a car like the well-tuned monsters that race (illegaly) on the Shuto Expressway. As soon as I heard the news about Benny's new modifications, I knew I had to get a Sultan and make it the Wangan monster I wanted it to be. So, after a couple days spent grinding and trying different color/rims/parts combos... Here's the end result. Some pretty evident inspiration from Abflug's demo cars and the infamous Zimax RX-7... And a certain Porsche tuner.
It may not be the fastest Super in a straight line (I wouldn't know, it's the first Super I own!) but it sure is fun to drive around, with plenty of aero grip. And that sound...

For those planning on buying the Sultan RS, you might want to buy one off of the website instead of using a stolen one. You'll get a huge bump in resale value if you're not satisfied for whatever reason.

How much is that bump?

It's the same as selling any other purchased car. You get 60% back instead of 10% (plus half the value of modifications, as usual) and you can sell it whenever you want. It's been like this since day 1.

On a typical "most expensive everything" car, it's about $400,000.

Ok. Thank you.

Well, it's not exactly the same. The reason there's been some confusion around this is that the cost for the Sultan RS isn't paid when you buy the car through BOMW's website, but rather when modifying it in the garage. You have to think of the RS as a car costing 807,000$ rather than a 795,000$ modification for a car that costs 12k.

P.S: got myself a "Rat" Truck (and it's all your fault, @The R!CE Guy:lol:). It's a relatively cheap ride to buy and customize if one's not to touch its performance. While I was building it into a modern hot rod, I started to envision a more... Rustic build for the Rat Loader.

Nice to see the Rat Truck getting more love. Love my candy red one to bits

Nice car, and thanks for the reminder @ClydeYellow 👍 I was about to fix my Ratloader last week, but got distracted by a customized Ubermacht Sentinel sitting outside LSC. Drove it home and forgot about the Ratloader  Have to fix it tonight :)

I'm hearing from some people that the 900R got a buff, and it somewhat feels like it since I was somehow able to keep up to an unmodified T20 and Zentorno with a clean 900R.

The issue I'm having with the new Benny tuner cars is that they feel so forcibly unwanted as a super.

Don't get me wrong: they're great cars, but they don't have what makes a super... super! The Bullet and the Voltic even feels comfortable in the class despite performance issues.

Don't know about being forced, but I sure like the Sultan RS. Now that the Banshee 900R appears to be 'fixed' I might have a go at that also.

In case you don't want to watch the video: a bunch of people have a drag race/top speed test with the Sultan RS, Osiris, and Adder, with a head start over a Banshee 900R - only for the Banshee 900R to fly past even the Adder at top speed. Waiting on someone like Broughy to test this (people are saying it's some sort of suspension glitch on the Banshee that R* has added as an easy band-aid fix), but it does mean one thing at the very least - the 900R is now definitely, in it's own way, competitive with the Zentorno and T20 (especially when you consider that long highway circuits tend to be the most popular races for people who aren't hugely into the racing community).

Would you like me to use the power of mod menus to see how its suspension works out?

For those who want to know, I did an uneven speed test on the Adder and the Z-Type last year. Here's how it went:

BY THE POWER OF MODS. I HAVE..
AN EMPTY ROAD, DEVOID OF TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIANS.
A SPEEDOMETER IN MP/H.
AND 2 TRUFFADE CARS, BOTH MAXED OUT.

Either way, since this is a curb happy road, the speed values are really going to be off the charts.

On that road, the Adder can reach 160 MPH! Which surprised me.

The Z-Type.. can also do the same feat. But it's the suspension that makes this a pretty hard thing to achieve. It hates to bounce, and it's so stiff. Took me a 2nd try to actually get the 160.

For giggles, I put in the PiBwasser Dominator and the Hakuchou. Both fully upped, and the Hakuchou in full banter wheelie.

The Dominator manages 160 like the Adder, and just as easy too.

The Hakuchou though...

Okay if you let it go.

But wheelie it.. IT IS A MONSTER. Will you believe me when I say, according to the speedo.. 180 MPH?!! IT EVEN DECIDED TO RAMP OFF THE CURB, JUMP ON TO THE HIGHWAY, FLY PAST THE HOUSES, LAND ON THE BEACH SO FAR AHEAD, THAT I BRAKED IT AND IT STILL ENDED UP IN THE BIG BLUE!!

This event motivated me to sell my Double-T and get me a Hakuchou.

EDIT:

It's still super slow.

If you want to know how accurate these mod menus are at speed measurement, I used the same road Broughy used and got the same results for his tests for both the regular Banshee and the 900R. The super bouncy road only gave the 900R a measly 130 MPH.

So yeah: it must be an online only thing. PC users received a baby update in the form of a Workshop content update. And I really want to feel the power without paying my hard earned money.

That is sick.

I was driving around before online (PS4) and i saw a white Albany Cavalcade driven by a random. It had it's tailgate open and the back was full of the speakers you get from Benny's. I didn't think to save the video until i checked other Cavalcades to check that they didn't all have the speakers in, they dont and the cavalcade isn't able to enter benny's so i'm not sure what was going on there.
