GTA Progress Thread

Well, here you can post whatever mission you're up to, and people will help you out. Do not post here if you don't want spoilers, because i'm sure if people post here there will be spoilers. It is just a general thread where everyone can say what progress they've made and ask for help.

I'm doing Kaufman Cabs in VC now, and it's pretty fun.

Nah, I'm just up to it.

Oh ok. Well have you done all of Kenji's missions yet?

I got pissed off with the Smack Down one because I was always one short of the amount needed to pass so I just went ahead and did Donald Love's mission where you kill him. Suppose I can't get 100% now...

Eddy: What do you have to do in Smackdown? And you can't get 100% now..

You have to kill the Yardie drug dealers (8 minimum) but once they sell their 'spank' they get off the streets. So, it's kind of a timed mission only without a timer.

Ahh. I remember that now. Well, that's very easy. Just once you run over the first, go for the closest ones, and you'll make it easy.

Yeah, I've done it before. But, then I accidentally deleted my save game so I had to start again (I was playing GTA3 for a whole day non-stop to get back up to where I was; including hidden packages and unique stunts) and I jsut couldn't get it this time. If there wasn't so much damn traffic...

Just sidewalk the car.

 

[Shannon]

Hmm, lets see. Foot police and lamp posts...

Hmm. And swerving between the paths and sidewalk might help...

When traffic is in front of you, use the sidewalk, when it isn't, use the road

Ah, I see.

Back on topic, I am only up to Luigi's 'Pump-Action Pimp' mission now as I restarted. No, I don't need help on this.

Heh. Just pop a few shells into his car, then into him. I love it when Diablos run from me.

I said, I don't need help. The easiest way is to get the molotov cocktails off of the 4 bums in the tunnel next ot 8-ball's and chuck one of them onto the car.

PS: There is also a hidden package in there as well.

Yes, i knew that. Heh. I wonder what they're doing in there other than taking the drugs from that hidden package...

Don't know. Don't care. They provide 4 free molotov cocktails - that's all I'm worried about. And they regenerate too - so you can keep getting molotovs.

They weren't bad missions - I actually managed to pinch the Zebra cab from the final mission for Kaufman Cabs (does anyone else 'get' the name?), so I've got the Love Fist Limo, Romero's Hearse and the Zebra Cab. Might do a screen capture.

I actually finished the Sunshine Autos car missions last night - I had a little drive in the race car. Might drag it out tonight and do some races - it's pretty handy...

Heh - it was sheer fluke I got it. I was in the middle of a gun fight (man, I love that Python pistol - one shot, one kill...) and the target got into the hearse. I couldn't think of a way to get him, so I thought 'if I jump in, he'll jump out, and I can drive-by him' - that worked a treat. Everyone started running towards me, and since I was already sitting in a vehicle, made perfect sense to drive off in it!

Nice work, maybe i'll try that in my next save...

I like that race car Very nice revving it out...but the best thing is just doing doughies with the PCJ-600.
