GTAV - snapmatics

I don't know who murdered my daughter, but I will find you, and I will kill you.

My secondary character's garage is a $141,000-per-car chrome emporium of Franklin Buffaloes.

So... Online with @gtuned and @SVX went well.

SVX in the Blista (left), GTuned in the Dominator (center) and me in whatever the other thing this (right).

Gtuned's Dominator may have gotten overly attracted to the guard rails... And they become one for awhile.

'Dat Blista.

And then this happened.

My Crown Vic thing looking fairly spectacular.

And then Gtuned's Dominator was dominated more by the train... And very stuck.

My Crown Vic also took its final blow.

And unfortunately the Fire fighters were too late... To save one of their own units.

.. That we had borrowed.

And then a Patriot joined in and met its fate, and the Sandking was slightly on fire.

The Vapid family started inbreeding... Again

And then GTuned left and SVX and I stayed for the big finale.

A little blurry, but I think you get the picture. :P

Found something strange on the side of Mt. Chiliad.

I feel like the paparazzi.

At the end of the nice photo shoot, I decided to jump some obese fellas.

Later that night, Doog and I managed to get a boat from, IIRC, Paleto Bay all the way down to the docks/canals, which we then drove up the canals and wiggled around as far as possible. You can see how car we made by looking at the skyscrapers in the background.

We got stuck.

The following day, I decided to park my Mallard for the world to see. Got plenty of attention.

I then chuckled at Doog for his stare at my Emperor, which brought the town's property value down. Respectively.

I took my Emperor for a likkle little drive to stumble upon a rather photogenic Mallard.

@Katiegan and I decided to jump off Mount Chiliad together.

Upon landing, I just had to take a photo of the beautiful Paleto Bay.

A day in the life.

So, been a while since I've played GTAV as I lost interest. But decided to give it another chance and y'know? I'm actually enjoying it. Mainly as I'm exploring, which I didn't do enough of before. Turns out there's so many places in the game I've not visited.

Best way of doing that? A road trip!

Set off late at night in my van, heading eastward from my apartment (3 Alta, apt 57) towards the Tataviam Mountains.

As dawn broke I headed down the other side, eventually reaching the wind farm:

As you approach the freeway, it's a question of where to go next - I swung by the power station for no real reason...

...before heading further north to Catfish View

Couldn't resist a spin on the boat, and later discovered the submersible hidden around there (not pictured).

By that time, the evening started drawing in.

I rejoined the freeway and continued to head north:

...before reaching the beach on the northernmost point of the map, and briefly setting up camp:

Then came my mistake. I joined a race that popped up on screen. Called "Nurburgring" - if it ever appears, do it, it's a fantastic circuit. But because it dropped me back in Tongva Valley, I had to drive back up to Paleto Bay to continue my road trip. I did so, joining a track running parallel to the beach.

This track has... how can I put it... a sodding massive gap in it. And if you approach from the north heading south, the ramp over this gap is a little too small to launch you high enough to clear it...

...so that was the end of the road trip. Couldn't free the van whatever I tried, so had to blow it up and claim on the insurance. Next time, I shall take a different route around the beach...

I shall at some point do another road trip. One of the missed aims of this one was to climb each of the game's mountain peaks. May take a vehicle that can actually get up them all, too...

I love it when people post road trip stories in here. Makes me want to go on one myself! There's so much to see around the map, it still amazes me nearly 6 months after release.
Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed in myself that I lost interest in the game a few months back without really fully exploring the map. I really need to go on a bit of a hunt, I think.

Thankfully, other players online pretty much left me be this time around. Sometimes it can be a nuisance exploring if someone insists on running you over or something...

Pilot:*guns the engine* "Good afternoon passengers, this is your captain Trevor Phillips speaking, we're looking about a 5 hour flight time today, Partly cloudy skies with probably turbulence, I'd advise you to fasten your seat-belts and hold onto the person next to you, as we are Preparing to Take Off within half a second."
