No offense to your avatar design, but I always found it quite odd that people put their nickname in the avatar.

Well you may find it odd or but most peoples custom avatars have their names in them.........and yes Loud why would you need your name on it anyway when you can yout look up and see the user name.......duh! - Me so silly!

Gigo - I really dig your design on this! Are you using a font to spell out GTPLANET or are you drawing that pixel by pixel? It's really clean (:

Probably Pixel-by-pixel...thats what I do...You can get cool looking fonts without all the extra garbage.

It's a font called Xentron
In Photoshop 7 you can choose to have it without smoothing/anti-aliasing and below and it is 1 pixel wide under the size of 15 points.
