anyone else having trouble finding speed in the golf?

I find the Golf to be quite fast. All in the tranny setup and suspension. It's a little slow in the corners but you make up for that on the straights.

I'm pissed that i missed today's practice, anyone up for a session tonight?

I might be on near 10pm est tonight.

One major thing in the third picture is i don't want people cutting that corner. If i see it during the race you will get a -5 point penalty for every time you do it.

what if the lead isn't cutting, but the 2nd car is late braking and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong? If the 2nd car is at the half way point of the lead car then the lead car should take the outside line, otherwise its on the 2nd car to back off. IMO of course.

If 5 people don't pick their cars soon then they will be replaced with the overflow people taking up the rest of the integra spots making everyone else run a Golf. Those drivers have till Thursday.

My teg has 238hp with no upgrades. Not sure what to do, i'll hold off on the engine upgrade since thats unremovable and i have a lot into this car now. Installing parts before the RM is pointless since it just removes(parts) or undoes(engine/aero) them anyway.

oh and no oil change. What happens when i'll need an oil change? With all the practice and over a month of races the oil will be black.

Not really you just have to install the parts again. Plus the RM upgrade puts on automatically a titanium exhaust. If you did the correct sequence of parts with no oil change you'll get 239. If you did it before then put everything on you'll get 245hp.

I might allow an oil change before the first race.

also transmission and suspension are included in the RM, so don't waste your money (35K) getting those.

You just want to get the parts that increase horsepower before you RM the car.

Yes it is going to be pricey, but the rules are the rules.

For the couple people who were racing last night i forgot to ask if you all had a good connection with everyone else(lag and stuff).

Great Practice guys. Slowly getting more people in them. These have been very helpful for the development of the series, Thanks a lot guys!👍👍👍👍

Great to see you guys got something going!
I'm only available to race in the mornings on Sat. so I regretfully need to withdraw from this series.
Happy racing guys!

Is there any way of knowing much of HP boost your going to see? I guess letting people do the oil change then messing with some of the smaller parts (like air filters) might get them back to right power level.

I've just seen the oil change make bigger differences on one car but not another because I think its a percentage of the engine's total power. Thus the Golf (which has the most HP) will get a bigger boost then the underpowered Integra.

Just as an FYI - my Golf is sitting at 299HP, but I've only done limited testing, maybe 20 laps of Deep Forest so far.
