However my mic was not working, is there some option I need to turn on? In Burnout Paradise there was an special online menu where you could check your mic and setup the volume.

You don't necessarily need a mic. You need to just Understand the rules of the race. Speaking of which the start of these races are going to be hard if just one person doesn't know what to do.

We will be starting with a rolling start. You will roll out of your grid positions and stay behind they person in front of you who should be going at 60mph. This parade lap gives you the chance to warm your tires. On the final bend to the straight everyone will slow down and make sure everyone is tightly packed for the start. When first place passes under the bridge the race is a go.

But I have a mic and want to use it... I am just trying to figure out if there is a setting or menu for it GT5 that I missed in order to set it up. Maybe its needs to be connected before I start the game?

You'll have to sign up with your car. The last practice that was hosted by me was yesterday. If anyone else is willing to make one then all the power to them but I'm not doing anymore practice till the first race.

I can't really help you as since every mic has a different way of setting up.

Yes it does you just have to put them back on. You don't have to buy the parts again.

Secondly sorry guys that this is on short notice but i'd like to run the race tonight at 10pm EST. I don't really have a choice on Saturday because it might be run quite late at night if i did. But if some of you don't mind that then please post.

Suggestion for the host: Set the race distance for 14 laps so that we'll be able to the pace lap and then to the race laps.

Also, will this be for the first race with Race 2 going with a standing start like they do in the WTCC?

I think we will do standing start the second race. Secondly the race has been shortened to 11 laps as 13 laps runs to about 18min.
