I showed really really good potential in the rain during pre-season, and the weather was bad... 👍
Yeah I remember. That Micra looked fairly stable in the wet. 👍

If it's a wet race I'm going to need to be really careful with my braking. I can keep it from looking up, but when the pressure is really on I'll be having a 'mare of a time.

@True-blue-8 any idea when the results and points will be up?
Unfortunately it will be lucky to be up by Saturday night. We have a reports to deal with. Also I don't want the series to crumble so I'm going to take my time this week and try sort it out. It's getting too serious and there's tension, it's a game and we want to relax. It's not world championship driving (yet :P)

I need to PM you too mate 👍

Exactly mate, take your time, we can wait for results, i'm in no rush.

Hello all want to put my points across from rome.
I really thought pens scrapped on the half power thing from race 1 and 2.

But lets get down to my night in Gttcc.
Race 1 was great in fact the pressure from that race left me in the shakes.
The pressure from EVO was mass pressure even time I got it right I would make space.
Every time I got it wrong that vovlo was right up my back side again (Stress)

I pitted for new ss tyres pit was a 12mhp painful crawl into the pits.
Coming out of the pits buck was in front and then Evo pitted coming out not to far behind me.
So I guess buck got a good pit and me and Evo not get a good one lol.

trying to past Buck I could not do he was quick, yeah I worried him.
But I needed to think all the thinking in the world made some errors and started to lose Buck.
And Evo coming for me again :(

Evo just kept on bring me in to him but Argo was not to far behind him.
Evo must of made a mistake :)
But his team m8 Argo not next thing I knew Argo was a head of me, think I took him on last lap and then did a good lap to keep him behind me.
Argo said in the room that C4 got legs it really is a good car but so the golf!
My legs was keeping cool and getting speed out the final turn and then use his draft to take him ;)

Race 2 was my nightmare all good in till I run into blue who lost it on track.
I saw a gamble move and thought I would make the gap, I guess blue just peeing his pants.
And he made the gap smaller than what it was trying to get out the way.
I got the days of thunder flim hit as I hit blue, I think almost a head on dam it hurt :(

I think I was still about 8th place when I pitted a little brain wave hit me in pitting.
Maybe I enter the pits to fast and that give me that craw in to pit crew?
I came off the gas and then pressed gas a little pits options just came up and went again.
So I was back on track with the SM tyres omg, had to pit again I needed my SS tryes on the car.

In the end I can last place in 10th :(

Race 3 think I got the rules mixed up for super pole.
Your only allowed to do 1 lap, not pick your lap where you pick to do it.
Pam ok the mistake but I think me not doing the rules and getting things wrong unsetteld me.
Race 3 went ahead any way, some did ask to restart it but hey I was 2nd place ;)

I thought like Ian my full bhp would be back but we both got limited a rule I thought was dropped.
Pam siad no if you come 10th then your full power back.
But I did come 10th in race 2, rules changed to 11th then you get full power back?

Race 3 was just a nightmare I was fighting with 2 green cars, yeah there draft me in to any turn.
I also made a mistake going in to the final turn but I got myself sorted coming out.
Only to be pushed wide into a wall, killing any speed I had.
I saw team work with the green cars to one drafting the other then the one in front moving right in front of me.
Balls to that I made it clear I was there come turn 4 but I held back and let them bash each other a little.
Plan almost worked but come the kinks I was on the out side line had to give in.
C4 not in good mode doing this and then pam gets past me, with me trying hard to get the car back on line.
I then just give up, thinking all my testing before hand just a waste of my time.
I can't test being placed into a wall, I can't test bad pits.
The rules and formats all over the place, I read them and still get them wrong.
The pens I not understand at all, I did think there gone.

I not understand so reason why I'm pulling out of Gttcc.
Do what you want I'll not be back ps3 going away for good.

Only one last thing to say Pam Blue your doing your best, hosting and running racing big stress.
When Btcc came to an end I thought gt6 also came to that end.
but gttcc made me look again but that over now my end, please not let talk about connection problems.

bye all good racing but I'm out now

Shame i never got to drive with you mate, good luck with the future though.

It also probably won't happen until I get around to giving @True-blue-8 the results.

If you want to make a start though True I won all 3 races, yes even race 1 where you were present and it didn't look like I won.
It's fine mate the points wont take long, it's mainly the issues i have to deal with so no worries :)

Understand completely mate. As much as i'm a big GT fan the game is just getting silly.
I think that there's been some confusion lately but in all fairness I don't see many problems with the rules. Yes race 1/2 are a bit different but I don't find them to be that confusing?....

Shame though, enjoy your PS4 and keep in touch mate :)

That's a real shame Mad, we'll all definitely miss you! :(

We will @CptMadBean, my apologies if any of my communications were unclear either in the thread or in the lobby, should have been 5 - 10 is half power and 11 back is full power. Quite likely I got a number wrong somewhere and I am sorry if that has happened.

With regards to the issue into the kink (I am assuming you are talking about the one on lap 5ish of race 3 between me and you) I am not sure what happened there and I haven't watched the replay back yet, as I remember it I got a good run out of 3 and bump-drafted a green car (Ingo or Duker) into the kink, I thought I had passed you and you had eased off so turned in we collided, apologies for the contact, not sure whos fault it was and as I say I am yet to rewatch the replay. Would be a real shame to lose a driver like you over something like this though mate, you are quick clean and competitive and I really hope you decide to stay!

@CptMadBean....... Mad, you know how much I like racing with you. I think that over the seasons we have grown to understand each other more and in some respects we have bonded on and off the track.

I understand your frustrations, I've been there too and I must admit that even I'm getting a little confused at times.

Can I ask you one small favour?..... Please just take a break for a while and think about it some more. Have a week off and maybe true-blue and Pam can try to clear up the confusions regarding the penalty system and improve on-track behaviour too.

The Gttcc is still relatively new, it has a lot to learn and I think that it could potentially improve over the next few weeks. Rome wasn't built in a day, so please don't allow a day of racing at Rome prevent you from enjoying racing in the future.

and I was mocked for wanting to be intimate ;)

But no mad, ian is right. Those here last season know exactly how good things can be. I think the build up has just put more pressure on and turned things into something serious, which we all need to take a step back.

To the GTTCC host and stewards.

Please try to make things less complicated and toughen up a little on on-track standards. It would make the series easier to understand for those that are struggling and hopefully drivers will be more careful when racing.

I also think that communication between the stewards themselves needs to be improved and also between the stewards and the drivers. There seems to be changes occurring without notice being given between all parties and it leads to confusion out on the track. This could easily be avoided if we made a plan, communicated with the drivers and then stuck to it.

Running a series like this is incredibly difficult and at times it will feel like a thankless task. But I assure you that the drivers are all grateful for what you're trying to achieve and I'd like to personally thank you for your efforts.

Please don't take any negativity from my comments, I'm trying to give constructive advice.

I can't speak for @True-blue-8 and it is ultimately his decision but as a competitor rather than a steward I agree that we could and should be more transparent and communicative with any changes that are made.

In terms of stewarding decisions it is a fine line between too soft and letting people off lightly and alienating/banning/heavily-penalising someone who has made one or two honest and accidental mistakes, I feel that anyone deliberately causing problems would be heavily penalised.

Communicating penalties is another tricky one, you don't want to put too much out for fear of this thread becoming an in depth debate/argument of every incident on the track. IMO keeping things like this to PMs is the best option and simply announcing who received reprimands/penalties for each race with the points is enough communication for those who weren't involved in the specific incident.

I think what we did last week was fine. We were quite heavy and it was handled in a fair manner.

I don't think communication with stewards is a problem, but all the chaos is just creating confusion
