Looking at the tables there are about 4/5 spots free in D1 if last season drivers stay. I think anyone not in D1 does a 5 lap race and their times are recorded (they may attempt 3 times) and then the quickest/most consistent get a D1 spot.Fair enough m8, I'm sending a PSN request, come find us whenever you are free.

I honestly think that's a fair way of doing it. Gives people time to learn the ropes and rewards people dedicated to the series. For example say you lost your D1 spot, that would be massively unfair where it's given to a new sign up.
