To much lagging from one driver, made it impossible to overtake him. A few drivers cut corners because penalty was not on i guess

Sorry for the mishap matty, had a great clean race myself, barely cut at all, had some big issues w people but overall i had a very very good pace

Lap 1, I tried my best to avoid someone but they got slightly too close to me (slow reverse across the track) and I clipped their left rear panel with my left front body section. Ended up smack-bang into a wall. Engine and two front wheel damage. Other than that, my sister needed a kiss goodnight from her big bro, which took a chunk of time away.

This is exactly what I was saying but most of you were crying to put penalties ON... I'll start by saying that I pushed R35 mid race but was not intentional. I slowed down so he could regain control but he spun. I'm really sorry for that. The rest of the race I did it clean and fair.
What really pisses me off is that I was gaining 2-3 seconds last 7 laps to 1st place but Paul was gaining those seconds back since he decided to do 6 big shorcuts towards the end. With tires shot to death, he was taking EAU at 150mph instead of 135-140mph like the rest with tire wear because of shortcut. All because you decided not to put penalties ON. 6 shorcuts at 4-5 sec pen per shortcut means 25 seconds or more. At the end I was 6.5 seconds off. If you do nothing about that, I will take it that I, and everyone else, can use shortcuts as well and get no penalty whatsoever.

Ill check tomorrow but Paul did tell me very soon after the race on Skype if he did make any shortcuts he'd lift off, ill check replay, but having race and known Paul for a while, this would be odd if the case.
Also, please keep things to PM and if nothing can be resolved then tell me if possble, dont want this sort of stuff coming into the thread. 👎 Not good or helpful to anyone.

That seems unlikely, Paul's not exactly the kind of guy to cut corners consistently and cheat to win. I'm not calling you out here, hell I wasn't there, it just seems out of character.
GT5's penalty system just doesn't work in organised online racing for a variety of reasons; I couldn't name one league around here that uses it.

Now to be fair i was able to take eau at 150 but that was on a two stopper, i cant see it being possible on a 1 stopper due to how much it took off the front, i wasnt at the front so i cant confirm or deny wether that was the case but just to say out of habit, i havent raced with pmac since BST Le mans s2 and the rest only a few may remember, sure ya have changed since that bud, id hope so at least anyway but that wasnt very clean racing so to summarise i wouldnt expect it, but i wouldnt rule it out, not taking a shot or nowt because thats not my thing and like i said i was no where near the front for large portions of the race, but he seemed fine early on (didnt gain much before i spun)
