"Hey dude, I'm a member of this internet forum about a videogame. Beat that!"

Yeah, good luck with that.

As much as I like this place and all of you Off-Topic crew, internet forum boards can hardly ever be more than uncool.

Rather torn on how to vote here.

This is one of the nicer forums I peruse on a regular basis, one of the longer lasting ones too. Most of the others are well past their heyday and are almost dead, while this one keeps chugging along nicely. Not sure I could call it cool or uncool. Meh it is.

The only fan-site for a game that I actually use often as a registered member since unlike most fan-sites for games, it doesn't suck. Sub-Zero. The community is also a huge factor in my voting as well.

But we did that to segregate the riff-raff, harmonize the forums because they were mentioning it every chance they got.

It's a forum about a video game, with an uncool fanbase, created by an uncool guy.

Uncool.

Now, if you ask about the Rumble Strip, now that would be cool, as most of the nice and interesting people hang here.

This is the internet. There's so much rampant, uncontrolled stupidity here that it's impossible to call cool. I'd normally vote SU on a website, but GTPlanet is easily one of the best sites on the web, and is currently my home page. But is it cool? Is talking about Gran Turismo and driving while not actually doing it cool? I'm afraid not. It's a great website and I'm happy to be here, but...

Uncool.

We can't judge GTP by it's users, that's like judging a car by it's driver, or judging a book by it's author, or judging a house on it's owner.
And that my friend, is how you won the Darwin Award.

As much as I love GTPlanet (and I do, we're a community that functions like a giant dysfunctional family, including weird uncles that we don't talk about. I've even started to like some of you people), it's still a forum based around a video game.

Every time I meet people from here, I tell my other friends that we met in a specialist Chlamydia clinic because it's marginally less embarrassing.
