Mortal Kombat guy likes toast?

I like toast. No. I love toast. Sub Zero.

Toast is awesome!

When I was a kid I would smear it with room temperature butter, and then hold it over the sink, and pour just enough sugar on it that would stick. What a great snack.

Now I still smear it with butter, it is a must with anything sandwich or egg related.

Small, simple, and minimalistic. Yet, it's versatile and always satisfying. Its understated look does not hamper the smooth, gratifying crunchiness whenever you take a bite. It has great potential for improvement in taste and there are endless incentives applicable for that already, while not being bad in the very first place. I'd say that it's also the quintessential symbol of food, appreciated by almost everyone in the world. It's cool.

Sub zero. I always have to have mine blackened a bit, none of this 'toast' that I see people make that is just slightly warmed bread.
Goes great as dinner too. Actually, any breakfast dish is awesome as dinner.

Blackened toast doesn't taste like toast though, it tastes like charcoal. You know what else has charcoal in it? Dog biscuits. :P

Too many carbs and it doesn't work hard enough flavour-wise. Toast merely has a supporting role to the headlining butter, jam, beans, marmite, etc, etc. - basically anything you put on it. Lazy if you ask me. Uncool.

Or you if you take something poisonous and go to the hospital "Activated Charcoal"

After seeing this thread at 2pm I had 5 tuna toast sandviches.

Toasted bread generally is better than soft bread because they let off an aroma, aren't flimsy and have a nice crunch to keep your senses excited.

But like sliced bread, not the coolest thing in the world, thus, only "cool".
