did some reading and discovered why I had so much trouble getting the SRT4 down to equal level with the other cars: It's the world's fastest production 4-cylinder car. In 2003-2005 when it was around, you really couldn't buy a more powerful or faster I4 car. Think about this: Despite it being a 4cylinder, the SRT4 had a production top speed equal to that of the Dodge Ram SRT10...and both cars were probably regulated. The SRT4 set a record speed with a modified form of it's original engine at 221mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats. (Which is close to the 249mph you can achieve with a fully tuned SRT4 in GT4, making it the FASTEST 4-cylinder in the game) So, if all the cars were stock, despite me not being the best driver, I wouldn't be surprised if I would be way ahead of the pack.

Instead would you like me to do some hotlap comparisons on the cars I have picked and the SRT4 ?
You could then extrapolate up to what the really fast guys could get out of it perhaps ?
