The first rotary-powered car, and no reason at all that it would be uncool.

Sub-Zero.
Actually, I think NSU (A company that was founded by Felix Wankel) used Wankel engines before Mazda. But Mazda was the first to use a 2 rotor. Regardless, I'm also voting SZ.

Not a factory colour it seems (though it did come in red and silver), but I've seen very few cars that look so awesome in orange
They came in colors OTHER than white? Regardless, orange looks cool.

Also, at the time of writing, this car has barely made it to the Ice Box. Even if it doesn't end up staying in the Ice Box by the time polling ends, I'm sure it's gonna be a very high Sub-Zero. But I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in the Ice Box.
 
I've always thought it's got very awkward proportions, but the running gear warrants a solid Cool.

This is really when Mazda became something more than another car company, to me anyway. Rotary engines, in a good looking coupe car.
