Upper cool for me, tickling SZ. Reliability issues let it down, though I believe long term fixes are available nowadays (bit like the Triumph Stag in that regard)
I saw one of these regularly in the early 90s in that wine colour, and it appeared to be a daily driver, as it was always parked outside a shop on a busy road. I had to describe it to my brother who at that time was a much bigger car nerd than me, and I'd really assumed it was an 80s car (I think I likened it to a Ford Granada).
1967! Someone needs to put this in a montage of other popular models from that year, it would look positively futuristic.
I would happily have one of these as a practical yet quirky classic, if I had the space and the means.
