Perhaps we are uncovering that rather interesting* subject of colour perception. For me, the car in the additional pics is quite clearly blue. A light blue, but a blue none the less. Not green.

*YMMV

As for the car? It's a cool little number.

I hadn't noticed how much this looks like a Triumph Dolomite at the front until now. But with a coupe body.

Cool.

I'm not a massive fan of the way that it looks. The main problem I have is that it isn't very well proportioned; the wheelbase is very short, giving the impression that an oversized body has been plonked on top of a tiny chassis.

If I saw one driving around today, I'd still think it was cool though.

Bland, no looker, unremarkable. Uncool (although gut instinct had me vote SU as soon as i clapped eyes on it)

Its one of the stock colours, but on that you can tell its been modified. Bucket seat, and the front wheels are more flush with a tad of camber, which is really the difference between 'cool' and 'uncool', for me. Makes it look less wimpy and more of a KPGC10 competitor.

I'm soooooorrry dude, but in stock form, even the KPGC10 GTR looks wimpy as hell:

Just look at that. That rear fender flare always made me laugh. Didn't you know they did not come lowered and wearing cambered Watanabes from the factory?

so, for your pleasure:

Of course I knew that, silly. :P

I agree- it looks pretty wimpy from factory, both of them. But, to me, echoing what @TheCracker said, the 1300 looks like an unremarkable runabout car, something that you wouldn't be surprised if it was a Corolla, of its day. I never really was a fan of the looks either, always thinking it never really suited the car. The Skyline, on the other hand, you can tell there's something special about it. It just has the charisma, and that look that its not just another run about car, even with that tacked on rear fender.

If it came from the factory, at least visually, exactly like the first additional picture, it would be a sub zero for me, hands down.

Small coupe from the late 70s. It looks bit bland for what it is, but you still don't see stuff like this on the street anymore and that's enough for it to be cool.

Sorry, but I can't see no more "charisma" and "specialness" than I see in the Honda. Heck, the Honda even looks more sportier thanks to the split front grille. And don't get me started on the regular, non GTR Skylines.

If it's not a GT-R, I'm not really all that interested.

Oh, sorry... I meant an Isuzu GT-R.

I have about three sedan unicorns from the time that I am hoping to drive someday... the Isuzu Bellett GT-R, which I have only ever seen once, and that is fighting tooth-and-nail against a classic 911 on a racetrack... the Lancia Fulvia... and the Alfa Junior.

The Honda 1300 isn't even the shadow of a blip on the radar screen... sorry. It's sort of cool... but not even Golf GTI Mark I cool.

Ooh, that's a very lovely Bellett.
That's the problem with the 1300. It's overshadowed, because it's pretty good in a class where that's not quite enough.
Low cool.

Also I like the KPGC10 but it annoys me because it makes everyone forget about its far more beautiful (and short-lived) sequel.

Hmm I love the Hakosuka and Ken-Meri equally :) As for this, I like it a lot, very high cool. Do love me some Japanese classic cars, also it's got a fair amount of power for a 1300, as a comparison of sorts 90s Mini Coopers only got 60-something horses from their 1275.

Eh, my bias to my dream car is probably clouding my view somewhat. :P

It seems rather dull to me and nothing really jumps out about it. If I didn't think the 'meh' option was so pointless I'd probably vote that, but I suppose since I have voted other Japanese classics cool or greater in the past, I'll just give this one a very low cool.

's a cool classic Japanese car, but it just doesn't rev high enough, and it's not as adorable as earlier Honda models.
