The actual model is named after the company founder  Equivalent to the Lotus Colin or the Volkswagen Hitler.

I rather think Volkswagen would rather call their car the Volkswagen Ivan than the Volkswagen Hitler.

None of those names are as Silly as the Vauxhall Adam, a car car named after the founder of...

Opel.

(Also, it's called the Adam)

It's such a terrible name for a car. They are running out of ideas, I thought Cee'd was bad...

If I come up with a name for a (fictional) car that I've doodled on piece of paper, my first thought is always "would TVR have called a car this?"

More equivalent to the Louis Chevrolet Grande Chevrolet or the Colin Chapman Big Chapman.

Not that those are less ridiculous.

It's inspired by the beautiful 330 P4...
...but it looks like a squatted Cheetah in a way.

A high uncool from me.

How so?

Other than being swoopy and red,
why is it NOT more of an FR 330 p4?

This thing is absolutely awesome. Also, I have to show off by saying that I'm one of the (I'm sure) few people that knew about this car beforehand.

There are some design cues I can see from the P4 such as the front nose (headlights, grill open) and the canopy with the air intakes on the side.

That said, the car's layout, looks and exhaust exiting from the sides reminded me of the Cheetah with a lower roofline.

A photo from the side could make a person think its a rebodied C3 Corvette.

Generally, your company doesn't name a car after you until you're retired or dead.

Though the name is a bit more ridiculous than Ferrari Enzo (the equivalent would be the Enzo Ferrari Enzoforte, I suppose)... it's still not as stupid as Ferrari LaFerrari.

Ohhhhh.... Ferrari LaFerrari Ey!
Watsamatta with you?

Barris, actually, was the guy who sprang to mind when looking at those spiral exhaust pipes... But at least Barris never really took himself seriously.

I'm still waiting for the Lotus Colin.

Not the Ford Henry?

The TVR Trevor sounds kind of nice...

Yes, yes, the name is silly. But look at those headers! Think about how cool you'll look with spiral headers and not how disappointed people will be once you tell them what the name of the car is.

I think you could get away with it as long as your name isn't Thomas
