It's disappointing that this is still your basic 70's muscle car, because Plymouth actually made one that wasn't round this time - the Superbird, of course.
That one is an easy cool. This, naturally, isn't.

Meh.

J/k, totally. SZ. Because Dodge hasn't ruined the nameplate by releasing a new one with the exact same underpinnings as the Challenger, the Charger, the 300C or the Ram 1500 Diesel.

Actually... I wouldn't mind if they did make one based on the Ram 1500 Diesel. Just because that would piss everyone off, righteously.

So at what point does the GTUniverse implode because the cool wall intelligentsia is currently voting a muscle car well into the top half of the cool wall?

On the one hand, the E-Bodies were pretty terrible and uncool cars when they were new, and are some of the biggest sufferers of revisionism regarding American cars of the time period.

On the other hand...

I've been trying to think any other sub zero cars from America since 1960. Haven't found anything else yet. Actually this is more than simple sub zero, it's so high up there that short people can't reach it.
Very bad Top Gear reference.

Someone will mention a M5 or some W893428592857757 AMG and GTP will be safe.

Oooh, barracuda.

Now that that's out of the way, high cool.

I subconsciously sung Barracuda in my head when I first opened the thread.

But anyway, badassery in badass form is how you describe this thing. And if Heart has a song that isn't named after it, but shares its name... Then that's also awesome! Sub Zero.

I'm tempted to vote seriously uncool since that god awful Barracuda song was brought up, what three times now? I'm also tempted to vote seriously uncool because this is one of those cars that are owned by car show people and as I've said before, those people are all seriously uncool.

However, this is probably the only muscle car I would ever remotely consider cool. Plus it came from the factory in obnoxious green, which is cool too.

Must be a turbo I4 in there somewhere...

Did Plymouth offer an infotainment center that would drive the car for me while I watch My Little Pony?
The heated leather cappuccino maker and built in massage chairs are the best features of this car IMO. It would only be cooler if it was a hybrid.

Every time I see or hear about a BA BA RA RA CU CU DA DA, this plays in my head...

'Cool' from me.

It probably is sub-zero, but I'm not a huge fan, so I'll stick to cool.

I ran back in the day, mid-70's, Saturday nights out by old Colonial Plaza for one spot,. I had a '69 Chevelle SS 396. If either guy with a Hemi Cuda showed up the rest of us were running for second. The only consistent competition to them came from the 440 six pack GTX and Road Runner. And there was every make, option of muscle car ever made out there over the weeks and months and years.
.

This is a car that can get away with insane colors. Not many can pull that off.
Poop Brown. White panels.

Still cool. Excuse me... sub zero.

this car just WORKS
A properly functioning car is cool?
