Yes. It was a 2 speed powerglide except you have to shift it manually without a clutch because GM stupified it so it wouldnt shift on its own making it a cheaper alternative.

If you've ever ridden an ATV with a low-high transmission its basically the same thing.

Same as a standard automatic column shifter except your options were "Lo, Hi" instead of "D, 2, 1".

I like the way it looks and it was sort of GM's version of a Capri. Looks best with minilights on it. Cool.

I absolutely love these things and would have one in a snap, specially because they were nev er available here and having one in Mexico would be a real oddity.

But it's as far from cool as you can get.
