To me it looks tasteful in a subdued sort of way. Could do without the Mercedes taillights though.

Cool.

Wow, a bucket of white paint. Seriously, I'm looking at a bucket of white paint. You know why? Because it's more interesting then this car.

My dad had a Granada before he got a Vauxhall Carlton. Can't remember if it was this generation though.

Still Uncool.

The thought of someone having to drive this around with a 54bhp diesel is just so depressing.

Not that the engine selection makes this Uncool. It's not a looker, and while bigger saloons can be cool, and cars from the late 70's, this just isn't one of them. The rally lights on such a big car is such a strange look.

The most interesting thing about this car is how quickly they seemed to disappear from the roads about 10 or 15 years ago.

I can remember them being quite numerous on the roads. But they all went they way of the E-Kadett.

Still a cool vehicle though.

Pretty good looking with the right options. low cool. The one in the image on top looks really good. Could make a great sleeper with a modern V8 swap.

This is just nudging modern classic for me, but only with the bigger engines. Ultimately it was just a big Cortina, ridiculously common back in the day, almost ridiculously rare now. Extra points for some packing a rare V4. Cool.

We used to rag about in one with a vinyl top and a 2.0... until it rusted to pieces.

Cool just for the memories.

Looks kind of like an XD-XF Falcon. Which is decent enough, I suppose, but the engines don't appear to be as interesting and, like the Falcon, I suspect it wasn't really all that outstanding or outlandish in any real way.

Meh.

I'd rather have that because 351 Windsor.

At least its ballsier.

Why not slot a 351 in a Euro Granada?

Anyway, old skool Ford that now turns heads and one of the few retro cars that hasn't fallen into the hands of the stanced mob. Cool. I'll have a 2.8 Ghia please.
