Cool. Especially with twin round headlights harking back to the Manta A, even if they're not particularly pretty. Those regular headlights remind me too much of the Mk2 Cavalier.

The Manta might not have been a huge success in rallying, by it's a rare thing to see on the road these days. Cool.

When I was younger, I associated the Manta with chavvy boy-racer types. But unlike old fast Fords - most of which I now find highly cool - my opinion of these has never changed. I'm almost certain every one I've ever have seen in person has had a drainpipe exhaust or some other equally tasteless mod.

Seriously uncool.

Seriously uncool. Mantas used to be the chav car. There's a whole lot of jokes specifically aimed at Manta drivers, too. And two movies, to boot.

Granted, that "scene" was around during the late 80s and early 90s. Still, one couldn't drive a Manta today without immediately being considered a chav.

A) it's a Vauxhall/Opal.
B) it's the euro equivalent of a 80's Camaro.

Uncool, saved from SU by having some motorsport pedigree.

I received my first and only ticket for driving behaviour that doesn't belong on the road in one of these. Of course after that ticket I never did it again.

Cool.

I find Mantas cool, either the A or B. The B GTE is nice and my favourite of the bunch. Also rallying history. A solid cool

Just different enough to be a conversation starter, not flamboyant enough to draw tons of attention.

Solid cool.

We didn't get these here in the colonies, so I don't really have any opinions its chavvy nature. What is evident to me, though, is its 80s rally car vibe, which is always sub-zero.
