I've never really warmed to the standard 8-Series as I've usually found it a bit bland.

If only the prototype M8 had been put into production, as it had an engine that could've been in the Mclaren F1, then that alone would've been a cool.

There are few Bimmers I would give more than a meh, but this gets an SZ from me. Modern classic. Too bad the M8 never got any further than a one-off prototype
