On paper, it has everything right. Good power, manual transmission, and rear wheel drive. But it looks like a boring car, and you need to explain to non enthusiasts why it's special. Meh
I've seen this "have to explain" bit a few times now, why does that matter? I think it's one of the things that makes the car cool. To actually explain it to someone is the epitome of uncool though.
I have learned from these last few polls that if a car has four doors and is a Toyota, then it's a Camry by default regardless of mechanics or performance.
It's almost like the people who designed one of the most boring cars in one of the most boring segments also might have been involved in designing other similar cars from the same time period by the same very conservative company.
It's a Toyota, and a boring looking one at that.
Uncool if it didn't have a 3 page name, but it does...so super uncool it is.
