And yet you always get the impression that the gentleman driving it is named Kenneth, has a beard and a small penis, and is a particularly aggressive member of Pistonheads. And these things are not all unconnected.

Exactly what are you trying to insinuate?

Looks like a tamer Cerbera and is probably less wild than an equivalent Griffith. Still cool.

Was going to plump for Cool, as one of my least favourite TVRs of their 90s-00s renaissance, but then realised had it been the only model they'd put out during that time, it would have been an immediate SZ. I know context is all, but SZ it is. Incidentally, I'm sure that technically their rep for issues and unreliability is deserved, but I do still see quite a lot of TVRs around, compared to other cars of their ilk. I guess people really look after them. Every one is a bona fide future classic, just as those slightly awkward wedges they put out in the 80s are now inexplicably appealling.

Famine owns the official GTP tape measure.

I shouldn't say that I like most TVRs then, should I? What would his opinion of this member's member be then?

Oh God, what did I just do?

The performance and noise are spectacular, but there's always been a whiff of kit car about them that (for me) they never seem to lose. This one is a solid Cool but it's no Cerbera, 450 SEAC or 3000M, all of which would go straight to SZ.

People will joke about the build quality, but it's one of TVR's better models. I like the looks of it too.

I'd say it's Cool.
