One of the few times modifying a car will make it cooler. With the standard wheels and ride height, these look no different to non-car people than a Paseo or any other 90s sport econobox.

Pretty meh as is, although I do like them.
 
Yeah, its similarity to the granny-spec Paseo sold here in the UK makes this look seriously uncool.

Anyhow, cool in my book. I have a soft spot for goofy high revving engine. Bonus for not being sold State side.
 
I especially like the BZR, but virtually any small car with ~157bhp per tonne seems like a good idea in my book (See Toyota 86).

NOTE: Might've been Toyota's entry to hot hatchery if it were a hatchback, and if so would warrant sub-zero status, in my opinion.
 
20v is a treat, as is the 6M, but it may as well be a Civic. Big, fat Meh.
