I kind of like the shape of it... it would be something that would be an attention grabber to me... cool. Very cool. (but not Sub-Zero)

Imagine seeing one of these even parked! That would probably make everyone's day. I don't care if anyone thinks it's not cool because it's a concept; if you saw one you'd probably be begging for a picture.

I'd do that with any concept car, doesn't make it cool because of that.

However, I never once said that everyone thinks it's cool. Just said I don't care if someone doesn't because I do.

Never said you did, just made a counter that people could find these cars interesting enough to take a picture with it due to how rare they are or one off. But if that was the pre-rec for cool then many cars on the wall would easily pass when they shouldn't.

I think it's cool. Not sub-zero, because it's not quite as pretty as it should be.

BTW, I don't get why you guys vote uncool or SU, just because it's a concept car.

I think that the original designer of the interior died before he could finish his drawing. Jesus.

When a herd of cows chooses the inside of an Alfa 75 to cark it, what need is there for a designer?

So is this basically half a Bugatti EB110? Because i find nothing wrong with that. Cool.

I have a problem with it looking like an EB110 that evolved in a subterranean environment.

Yeah I see what you mean there.

Because being a concept rarely gets driven, it's one of a kind and a average Joe (even super rich guys) can't drive it.

Oh BTW, SUBCC

I still don't get the SUBCC + SUBRC reasoning... anyone care to explain why that is?

You can't actually use concept cars or race cars on the road, so they might as well not exist, and public transportation is Seriously Uncool.

Sure, to you and I a race car seems pretty sweet, but imagine driving one of them around town. Let's even say that all law enforcement turns a blind eye and doesn't pull you over on sight (Which they would, and that's uncool). You'd break your spine on all but the smoothest roads, rupture your eardrums during any drive longer than 5 minutes (Unless you wear a helmet everywhere you go. Also uncool.), and literally everyone nearby would hate you for making such a racket.

Imagine pulling up to a date's house in a race car. Even if they were impressed, the miserable experience of riding in it would ensure there would never be a follow-up.

Not to mention race cars rarely have more than one seat. ;)

Well, shouldn't race cars be decided under different criteria... such as how it did during its career, how innovative it was, what powerplants it used, who drove it... etc.?

If we are judging a race car where it isn't supposed to be used (on the road), then that's a pointless judgement and I don't understand why we judge race cars based on their road value (the McLaren F1 GTR is an exception, as that can be used on the road I think)... because they're NOT supposed to be used on the road!

What next? Seriously uncool because the headlights are 5 micrometers too close to each other? (SUBHA5μM???)

Sorry for the offtopic, back to the car.

I would show up to a party in it... it's definitely a head turner, and it's kind of very similar to the Alfa SZ. According to Husky from FailRace...

"You either loved it or you hated it." I'm indifferent on the SZ, but I sort of like this for being extremely out of the ordinary while still having that Alfa charm + the supercar charm that only some supercars have.

No. Do you know who - with the exception of automobile and motorsport enthusiasts - cares about any of that? Nobody. Nobody cares. Rattling off all of that information to everybody who can hear you is going to result in a lot of very bored-sounding sighs. Not everyone is interested in cars. Most people actually don't care, though I imagine you know that.

You know who attends races right? Car enthusiasts and people they've reluctantly dragged with them. This relates to what I said above: Nobody cares about most of what we think is interesting. Go ahead and tell someone how many races it won. Most likely response: "Cool."* Tell them how many cylinders the engine has, the displacement, and whether or not it has forced induction (and whether that means supercharged or turbocharged, can't forget that). Most likely response "Nice."** Explain to them who raced it. Most likely response: "Who?"

Like I said above, regurgitating a bunch of specs and facts isn't cool because most people don't care.

* They probably don't actually think it's cool.

Good one.

Something else that is uncool would be debating about whether or not something is cool.
