Most people on this forum know it from a computer game, and apparently that makes it uncool. Also ugly, and a shame that they missed the opportunity to make a sensible sports car with muscle styling styling...

As it was never meant as a muscle car, styling it as such would make it kinda crappy, probably heavier and effectively underpowered. What makes this car Cool for me is that it was pitched as a light, capable and fun coupe, with lean and unique styling. The fact that it didn't make it to production is more indicative of this seeming a pretty odd proposition for the main US market.

On the contrary I think they styled it too heavy handedly, it looks fat and chunky.. it has some muscle car styling cues, but looks instantly dated, in a way that the Viper (for instance) doesn't. I agree though... the USDM would have been it's biggest issue!

I think it looked better as a boxy GT1 model than it does in real life. In real life it looks like someone was playing with morphing software while drunk. "Weird" would be the best I could say for it.

Ugly as sin and five years late to the party, lacks fantastic three-spoke early 90s rims, and is a concept which had potential but was, as usually, left to rot while Dodge produced more people movers and cars based over the same platform which got a thousand different toppings.

Seriously uncool.
