Race car that happens to also be a concept car, or a concept car that also happens to be a race car. Either way, if I or anyone else turned up in a car that looks like this:

Because regardless of how that car is presented in the OP that is how every single Furai looks like today. (Unless the remains have been scrapped, which in all fairness is entirely possible.)
It would be seriously uncool.
Yet nobody has called you out for doing the same thing in GT suggestion thread. Getting a bit over yourself?Just like every "savior" that you nominated
Mazda got banned from using rotaries at Le Mans after the 787b dominated the event. The engine itself could run another 24 hrs after that race if they wanted it to. And I'm sure they'll bring back the Wankel soon.Seriously Uncool.
I love Mazda to bits, it's easily the car brand I love the most. And I love the Furai as a machine, it looks wonderful and has a great sounding engine that surely would make it go like stink. But it's Seriously Uncool.
Why do I hate the Furai as a whole then? Because it reminds me of the time when Mazda had no guts and no courage to do crazy 🤬. They could've made the endurance racing world massively better looking, they could've stomped on Toyota and Nissan with a second win at Le Mans...and then they just allow Top Gear Mag to burn it and call it a day.
It's a reminder of that Mazda that made the NC Miata heavier, the Mazda that gave up on the Wankel engine, the Mazda that thought Le Mans was too much. The Mazda that looked like Toyota.
