Edit: @Famine : Is the 5 really so bad considering it's a small MPV? It's the only thing of its kind over here, is there anything over there truly "better" in the same class?

Lots of people really rate it and put it pretty close in terms of handling to the C-Max.

The one I drove was so numb I may as well have been driving a sponge nail into a wall of gelatine after sleeping on my own arms all night. It was easily the least Mazda-y Mazda I've ever driven. We have a diesel 2.2 6 Tourer from the previous generation - back when they were still Mondeos - and even despite being a diesel estate car its fun to drive. The 5 wasn't.

Every time I see one, I can't help but to look like I hate the rear, but everything else make up for it. Most Japanese sedans look little bit dull, or downright lame these days, but 6 is right up there with Kia Optima, and I'd assume it'll handle hella better.

That's disappointing. Great looking van-car thing.

It's one of those cars that's cool because it is such a good car, but doesn't shout about it. It's beautifully formed, it's not messy, it's just nice.

Seriously uncool. Mundane sedan that Internet auto enthusiast fawn over, plus it's a Mazda, which is probably one of the least cool brands I can think of when it comes to cars.

You know, it is cool. It says, 'yeah I need all this safe stuff, but, I don't need to be a complete dag about it, give me a bit of style'. And hey, personally, I think this looks waaaay better than the new MX-5. Solid Cool.
