EDIT: Now on to my opinion of the design. You know, something about the styling is growing on me. Probably the fact that it looks sportier than all the previous generations combined, with a GT86 also thrown in for good measure. I never said the design was bad in my previous SU post, just the fact that it's the hipster, save the planet, d-bag off of modern family, boring econobox.

From some angles in some lights, it's almost possible to look at it, and it probably looks better in person.

Is there a reason they've always had the lumpy backside?
I could concide the last models looked decent as long as you couldn't see the back half of the car. These headlights look like a hideous transformer. Decepticon for sure.

I'm sure it's alright as a car, but it still has the wrong sort of image. In fact it's gotten a new one in London - as a car driven by maniac Uber drivers. Granted most of them are the previous gen, but there'll be more of this one soon enough obviously.
Seriously Uncool. Incidentally, I should say I much prefer Toyota's Mirai on the whole, mostly because I'd love to see the hydrogen fuel cell move on further. Hybrids are commonplace now.

They tried so hard for the Prius to look different and futuristic as it always was the ideia of it, but they made it ao ugly it hurts. The first 2 Prius are not that offensive, but it has been getting uglier. I'm all for the technology, but it's so ugly it can't ever be considered cool.

It does look ugly and awkward in pictures, but really, on the road, it doesn't really stand out, and yes, I've seen them.

Meh for being nothing more than an a-to-b car.

You haven't considered that it's comfortable, has a quiet ride, is very technological, has an interior, the price is low, the fuel economy is high and it has higher build quality than other mid-range family cars.

If only this looked better, I would of maybe picked it. Or wish a Model S was cheap but, that would be only in my dreams. Plus, it's a damned sporty luxury one at that.

P.S.: Don't play with fire though, it can burn people too much, tho.

I finally accepted to like the 2nd generation Prius and found the 3rd gen ok, but this forth gen, I just hate it so much!

It is what it is, and what it is is Seriously Uncool. I don't hold a car's Priusness against it because those characteristics are there for a reason, but it really gets my motor not-even-idling-because-of-the-hybrid-stop/start-advantage.

This has no bearing on my rating because there's nowhere else to go, but the newest ones are mind-blowingly ugly.
