I say cool. The car itself is pretty badass and I do like what it's meant for and how it came about (rally stuff... or is it Rallye Sport?). Sure it may be a little "boy racer" and "bro-mobile", but who am I to judge, I've owned worse offenders myself. But somehow I would still be okay with just an ST for a lot less money.

Does it come with Monster Energy stickers in the trunk? I like the mechanicals, and I'm sure it drives great, but that alone doesn't make it cool.

Kill two birds with one stone.

Because it is full of cars he doesn't like, so it must be wrong!

As for the RS, gotta go with uncool. The average person on the street doesn't think a Focus is cool and this is just a Focus with a wing.

Well, it is a little bit odd to have the ST and the RS.
I have to disagree here. The ST is a sporty looking car, but it's nowhere near as racy and high performance as the RS. Someone may want a sporty car that's not over the top, and a higher performance car to race around the track.

Is there any evidence to suggest that the ST makes a better cruiser than an RS?

Hey, I love Focuses! I even own one (2016 SE and had a 2014 SE 2 years ago). As for the Colorado, I'm thinking of getting a small truck next and like the Colorado/Canyon. But, if Ford brings back the Ranger I'll get that too :)

It's a Ford focus with a drift button, Uncool.

I'd presume it would be a fun car to drive and have a blast in though and I'd be tempted to turn my cap the wrong the way and buy one.

Haul kids, haul ass, rub people with their 370zs and saying "dur you spent 40k on a murican car" with your helluva car. Cool.

Meh. Ticks a few boxes but I've never been able to get excited about any Focuses (Foci?) for some reason. At least they've ironed out that scary understeer the original gen had, IIRC.

What's actually noteworthy here?

It's a hatchback?

No, we've been building those for a long time.

It's got 345hp?

It's 2016, there are multiple vehicles on sale with more than double that.

AWD? Again, 2016.

Torque vectoring? It's 2016.

Add the fact that it looks like one of the really bad widebody kits from NFSU2 and, well, yeah, seriously uncool.

The main thing is to get all of those things in a hatchback you need to drop significantly more money for an RS3 or an A45 AMG, which I should add aren't actually sold in the US.

The closest you can get off the top of my head is the Golf R and even with its advantageous DSG option it's outgunned by the Focus.

So the "noteworthy" stuff is the bang for your buck.

I think its pretty cool, because its a modern "tuner" car. like the BRZ, 370Z, etc.

Despite Ken Block, and "drift mode", it will definetly spark some more people to be interested in cars.

I am a big fan of the Focus ST, and this car too. Tonnes of performance and practicality! What more do you want? Cool
