I do appreciate the design for the most part.

But I opened up this picture half an hour ago...

And I still have "Crazy Frog" playing in my head.

Meh. I don't see it as a race car for the road or a fun car to drive on road & track. I don't know what to make of its purpose beyond Le Mans.

SU

Managed to see it in flesh at Autosport show, back in January. I like it but in the flesh, I was a little underwhelmed by it. SU for reasons already stated.

I would take this as an easy SZ... BUT...

GTLM race car isn't that great looking... (doesn't really count)

Rear end looks awful...

And:

In your application you had to demonstrate previous ownership of fast Fords and an active social media presence.

Kill this thing with fire.

Horrendously uncool.

It has the wrong badge to be SZ. Probably awesome to drive but it's basically your run-of-the-mill todger-tugging poster hypercar.

Uncool.

Ah yes, a Le Mans Prototype that intentionally held back the first few races of the WEC season to get maximum performance at Le Mans. While there were no road cars sold.

It belongs in hell

The engineering is brilliant, the looks are different, but not repulsive even from the rear. The purchase requirements are rediculous.

The controversy of the class win at LeMans hangs over also, not that the 1966 win was without similar protest, lazy litres strategy etc...

Overall it gets an uncool.

Sooooo SUBRC?

Looks okay, but then I realized this has a V6. Even if it's twin-turbo, where's that menacing V8? Gah. Meh.

Even the Mid 2000's Ford GT has a V8.

It's a shame Ford didn't go through with the GT90, or something similar to go after Le Mans during the '90s prototype era when an overall win with a road-ish car could be attained.

I like the body but for the engine sound it's a meh to me. I do like it at low idle

Not a very good video to demonstrate your dislike of the engine sound, since the driver never even attempted to get it to open up.
It's no longer a retro car so it no longer needs a retro power unit.

It could have been more retro if they made it a pushrod, instead of a more technological modern V8. Oh well but I also don't see the problem with a V6 twin turbo when the plan is to race the cars first and sell them because they have to.
