A seriously uncool vehicle made by a seriously uncool brand driven by seriously uncool folks. And apparently, the the top-level trim (Black Label) starts at roughly $90k. Who on earth is gonna pay that for a car that's not even close to the size of a Navigator or Escalade?

Objectively speaking, I don't hate the Aviator. It's a pretty decent looking SUV; Lincoln's corporate grille and styling cues works well on this rather square body style and I dare say that it looks better than much of it's foreign competition. Sadly, the fact that it's a Lincoln is it's main setback. The Lincoln brand name has been uncool for many decades, and it'll probably stay that way for decades to come. Though I'm certain wealthy midwestern families would have no problem buying this, the Aviator would likely not even be considered by Audi, BMW, MB, or Land Rover buyers, not because it's an inferior product, but because it's a Lincoln, and Lincolns simply aren't brand-name.

Not SZ but I think the Aviator is cool. It's certainly the best looking SUV in its class, and I think it looks better than the new Lincoln Continental. I think that's just because the Conti isn't square-ish enough to give it that real "luxobarge" look, and this one is. (For instance, if the new Continental was shaped like the Toyota Century we did yesterday but had the front end of the Aviator, that would be SZ) Lincoln's really been getting better over the last few years it seems, all while Cadillac is being... baffling? Eh, the Aviator feels like a successor to the big American luxobarges of the '60s even though it's in SUV form... large, rectangular, and powerful.

Also note this will probably be my only nomination of a new car. I just wanted to see what would happen.

Oh so now we have to explain our wrong opinions to you even though we didn't even post in the thread
I know you’re being sarcastic but I was genuinely curious as to why someone thought it would be SZ. Being that the Wall is entirely subjective, there is no “wrong” opinion, no matter how far from the norm it may be.

I like it's big brother a lot more, and I certainly think that getting the Black Label trim is overkill when the Raptor-powered Navigator exists, but it's still a pretty cool car in its own right. I think it's mostly 'cause of the rims.

Granted, almost anything is cooler than the previous-gen Aviator (and Navigator, for that matter).
