I agree completely, but I'm still curious as to why for several people it makes it automatically uncool? Why do folks dislike concept cars or think them uncool?
Because concept cars are uncool.

Nothing to do with disliking them - though for the most part I don't like them either, because many car companies use them as an way to avoid actually doing anything. Every now and then though you'll get something like the Mazda KODO which has a point.
Surely that is more an argument why concept cars shouldn't be included in these polls? I totally get that as an argument, but that the concept status makes it automatically "uncool" or even "not a car" (seriously? I still think you are clinging on to that bizarre notion a little tenaciously/tenuously) I'm finding more of a stretch.
It's also an argument as to why they shouldn't be here. They're not cars and that makes them automatically seriously uncool - so what's the point of the poll?
The car cannot be driven now, but it was definitely driven for the movie. It's more working concept than garage queen concept.
It was driven more than that. It was a pace car for the 1992 PPG IndyCar series.

So then wouldn't that somewhat invalidate the "concept cars are automatically uncool because they're not even cars" reason for disliking this car?

It seems I've picked another controversial car following my VXR8 Bathurst nomination. :nervous:

I voted meh, it's uncool by looks and the fact it's a concept. It's cool for being a famous movie car.

Not really - not a one of them has turned a wheel in 20 years and the only occasion the concept car was used was as a race car, by a racing driver. So double serious uncool by being both a concept car and a race car.

Subzero!! Awsome styling yeah it has a 4cyl but it's one that makes over 440 hp and there is even rumors that one exists with over 600hp helper by Lamborghini! U can own one! There is a few kit car companies out there now that make them! A guy was recently selling one for 15,00 but think it was just a roller!! But that's good so u can pick ur motor! Personally ide go close to original with the 2.2 liter twin cam twin turbo!!

The org movie car was bought buy a guy who made kit cars! He made 6 body's from it! He put the org one on a different chassis though to make it easier to handle on the street! With a ve motor wich he later changed to a 3.8 Pontiac motor! He gave up on the project after making the 6! Chrysler then bought the original back from him and restored it! It's the one that now sits in there museum! U can tell because it still has the Pontiac 3.8 motor in it!!

Was reviving a 3-year old thread, with a closed poll really necessary?
